About experience

Day 01: Beijing

Your guide will meet you at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. 

Day 02: Beijing (B+L)

Visit Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and a Chinese Kung Fu Show. A la carte lunch with Peking duck. 

Day 03: Beijing (B)

Mutianyu Great Wall (round-way cable car ride), Bird's Nest (drive by), a local Market.  

Hotel: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5 stars)

Day 04: Beijing - Xian (B+L)

Visit Summer Palace and Hutong alleys including Chinese Paper Cutting. A la carte lunch. Fly to Xian and check in at the hotel. 

Day 05: Xian(B+L+D)

Visit Terracotta Army, a local family with home-cooked lunch and Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Dumpling dinner and Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (Tips: the show with dinner is available from Apr to Nov)

Hotel: Sheraton Hotel Xian (5 stars)

Day 06: Xian - Shanghai (B+L)

Observe local life in the park, One-hour Tai Chi practice, Xi'an City Wall, A la carte lunch, Fly to Shanghai, Airport-hotel transfer. 

Day 07: Shanghai(B+L)

Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden and its traditional bazaar, A la carte lunch, Former French Concession, the Bund and Huangpu River cruise. Upon returning to the hotel your guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.

Hotel: Crowne Plaza Century Park Shanghai (5 stars) or Similar

Day 08: Shanghai - Hanoi(B) 

Morning is free. Fly to Hanoi and check into the hotel.

Day 09: Hanoi (B+L)

Visit Ba Dinh square, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, the One Pillar Pagoda, West Lake area, Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple, the Temple of Literature and the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. 

Hotel: Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa (4 stars)

Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B+L+D)

Go to Halong Bay to board a fun cruise trip. Getting to the cruise pier takes about 3.5 hours, thus expect a noon time start with a bumper lunch. Enjoy the picturesque scenery. You will spend the night on the cruise. Note: The itinerary on board is subject to the arrangements made by the cruise company and also subject to change due to weather.

Cruise: Indochina Sails - Superior Cabin (4 stars)

Day 11: Halong Bay - Hanoi(Brunch)

Take a rowboat to explore some of the nearby islands. Then back to the junk for brunch. Upon your arrival at the dock, your guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi. In the afternoon, visit the Opera House, Old Quarter, HoanKiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. The tour today ends by enjoying a special Water Puppet Performance at Hoan Kiem Lake area.

Day 12: Departure from Hanoi(B)

Our guide & driver pick you up at the hotel and transfers you to the airport for your homeward flight.
