      Arrival in Reykjavik

Once you arrive at Keflavik International Airport (KEF), you'll need to go through passport control, collect your luggage, and head to the arrivals area. Right outside, you'll easily spot the white buses with the Flybus logo, which will take you to Reykjavรญk.

The Flybus transfer will take you to the city's central bus terminal. Depending on the exact location of your accommodation, you may have to walk a short distance from the nearest stop. Your ticket for this transfer will already be loaded into the MOGU app.

Hostel check-in starts at 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at reception and explore the surroundings on your own. Reykjavik is a walkable city, so we suggest taking the opportunity to visit nearby attractions such as Hallgrรญmskirkja Church, the Old Port, Lake Tjรถrnin, or simply enjoy a coffee at a local bakery

This day is designed for you to rest from your international trip, acclimatize to the Nordic climate, and begin to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of Iceland.

    • 8:20 am - 8:00 pm

      Golden Circle Tour

Today, your adventure through Iceland's natural wonders formally begins with one of the most iconic tours: the Golden Circle. This guided tour, with an audio guide in Spanish through the MOGU app, will take you to discover three of the country's most famous and representative places.

First stop: รžingvellir National Park. Here, you will walk through the historic area where the world's first parliament was founded in 930, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is also one of the few places on the planet where you can observe the separation between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. The landscape is breathtaking: fissures, crystal-clear lakes, and rock formations that tell millions of years of geological history

Second stop: Geysir Geothermal Area You will travel to Haukadalur, a geothermally active area where the famous Strokkur geyser is located. It erupts approximately every 5 to 10 minutes, reaching heights of up to 30 meters. It is an impressive spectacle that you can witness several times. Here there are also fumaroles, bubbling mud pools, and hot springs that show the power of the Earth's interior.

Third stop: Gullfoss Waterfall The last stop of the day is this majestic waterfall fed by the Hvรญtรก River. Gullfoss, which means "golden waterfall," falls in two levels through a deep canyon, generating a cloud of steam and rainbows if the sun is shining. It is one of the most impressive landscapes in Iceland and, without a doubt, a must-see

After the tour, you will return to Reykjavik in the afternoon. Weather permitting, you may be able to go out on your own at night to observe the Northern Lights, one of the most extraordinary natural phenomena on the planet

      Tips of the day:

      1. Wear thermal, wind- and water-resistant clothing. Winds can be intense on the Golden Circle.

      2. Bring snacks or drinks, as there will be cafe stops, but times are sometimes limited.

      3. Keep an eye on the MOGU app to confirm pickup and drop-off times.

      4. Bring a portable charger, as the day is long and you'll be taking a lot of photos.

Free day in Reykjavik (optional Into the Glacier)

Today you will have the freedom to explore Reykjavik at your own pace. Iceland's capital combines history, culture, nature, and modernity in one place.

You can walk through the historic center, explore Laugavegur Street, visit the impressive Hallgrรญmskirkja Church, or discover local history at the National Museum and Art Gallery. If you're looking to relax, head to Laugardalslaug, the geothermal pool most popular with locals.

Other options include strolling through the Old Harbor, admiring sculptures like the Sun Voyager, enjoying Icelandic cuisine at local restaurants, or simply bird-watching at Lake Tjรถrnin. If you're feeling adventurous, the city also offers a vibrant nightlife with bars and live music.

    • 8:00 am - 10:00 pm

      Explore the South Coast

Today you'll immerse yourself in one of Iceland's most breathtaking landscapes, where fire and ice collide on the south coast. From Reykjavik, you'll travel 350 km of lava fields, glaciers, volcanoes, and unique beaches.

Depart for the vast southern plains, with views of Hekla Volcano, Hengill Mountain, and, if the sky is clear, Eyjafjallajรถkull, famous for its 2010 eruption. You'll also be able to see the Westman Islands on the horizon.

      1. First stop: Seljalandsfoss waterfall, 60 meters high. You can walk behind its veil of water for an immersive experience. Don't forget your raincoat!

      2. Continue to the mighty Skรณgafoss waterfall. Those brave enough can climb the steps for a spectacular panoramic view.

      3. Stop next to the Sรณlheimajรถkull glacier to admire its crevasses and colors without walking on the ice

      4. Visit to the black sand beach Reynisfjara, with its basalt columns, violent waves, and the enormous stone cave.

      5. Tour of the coastal village of Vรญk รญ Mรฝrdal, the southernmost settlement in Iceland. Here, weather permitting, you will see the iconic Reynisdrangar pillars.

Return to Reykjavik with your camera full of memories and your heart impacted by unforgettable landscapes.

      - Hafnarhรบs, an art museum housed in a former port warehouse that features contemporary works of art.
