This tour includes:

Accommodation

The accommodation on this walking trip in Mallorca is split across two properties: Puerto Sรณller: Hotel Eden Nord (nights 1-4) Spend the first four nights at Eden Nord, a 112-room hotel just 655ft (200m) from a sandy beach. It has a seasonal outdoor pool, plus plenty of loungers and a solarium โˆ’ a great spot to relax when youโ€™re not out walking. It also has a bright and breezy restaurant serving food from Mallorca and beyond, plus a bar selling cocktails, beers and wines. Lluc: Lluc Monastery (nights 5-7) For the remaining three nights, we stay in an ancient monastery thatโ€™s considered the most holy site on the island. Pilgrims arrive from far and wide to visit a statue of the Virgin Mary, which, in the 13th century, miraculously reappeared in this spot after being taken to a local village church. We stay in the guesthouse-style accommodation, plus thereโ€™s a seasonal pool and botanic garden for downtime. The Sa Fonda restaurant, operational since 1921, serves Mallorcan cuisine made with local products.

Guide

Our local partner, Eduard, is a highly experienced qualified mountain guide, local to the village of Sรณller, Mallorca. He has a particular passion for the native flora and fauna in the Tramuntana Mountains and has been guiding groups both in Mallorca and mountainous regions worldwide (the Andes, Alps, Atlas Mountains, Slovakian Tatras and even the Himalaya) since 1999.

It is recommended to take the historic wooden train through the mountains between Sรณller and Palma at least one way. Next, we climb up to Coll de Biniamar to join the coastal path of Sa Costera, offering spectacular scenery throughout, until we reach the little bay of Cala Tuent where the bus will meet us for the transfer (approximately one hour) along the beautiful Sa Calobra road to the Lluc Monastery.
