Your guide will wait for you at the hotel, and then escort you to see the bests of the city, including the Citadella, the Gellert Hill, the Buda Castle, the Matthias Church, the Parliament Building from outside, the Saint Stephen’s Basilica, the City Park, the Heroes Square, the Andrassy Avenue, and the Central Market Hall. Lunch will be served in the famous Castle District, and then you can enjoy some free time till the dusk. In the evening, we will arrange an one-hour Danube river boat cruise for you. Enjoy the Danube bend half day tour in the morning. Reaching the bend, the guide will accompany you to take a walk around the Szentendre city, with some souvenir shopping time. Then go on to the Visegrad city including the indoor visit of the Royal Palace. The lunch will be enjoyed in Visegrad. Later, spend the afternoon relaxing in Szechenyi Thermal Spa or joining an optional visit to the Central Market Hall. After, we will send you back to the hotel in Budapest.

Your guide will pick you up to the Lake Balaton today, taking around 1.5 hours’ by private car. As the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, Lake Balaton owns a shoreline of 120 miles long. You will find there are some lively activities and performances on shore. We will take the nostalgia train at charming, baroque-styled town Balatonfured; roam around the scenic Lake Balaton; explore the buildings and vineyard on the Tihany Peninsula; and visit the Benedictine monastery of the Tihany Abbey. The lunch will be arranged in Csopak city and we will spend the night in a hotel by the lake.

There, the guide will show you all the city’s secrets, including the Basilica, the Bishop’s Palace, the Stephens Square, the Zsolnay Museum, and the Mosque of Gazi Kaszim Pasha. Have lunch in the city center of Pecs and stay overnight in Pecs.

Today, follow the guide to Eger, the most famous wine-producing area in Hungary. It takes 3 hours or so to drive there. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Eger city including the indoor visit to the Castle of Eger, the Minaret and the Cathedral on the main square. Then have lunch and taste local wine in the Valley of the Beautiful Women, the best-known wine region in the country, and also visit several wine cellars here. At dusk, drive back to Budapest.

After breakfast, you will be guided to visit Khajuraho, once the capital of the Chandela Dynasty. This little village is now famous for its World Heritage-listed temple architecture. You will enjoy the exploration of the world-renowned Khajuraho Temple Complexes, each of which decorated with unbelievably exquisite sculptures that have stood the test of nature for more than 1000 years and stayed almost intact. It is said that Khajuraho is something that can’t be described in words but must be experienced, you will find your own answer there.

After the visit, you will be transferred to your hotel in Allahabad by private vehicle.

In the morning, you will be guided to visit Allahabad highlights, including the holy Triveni Sangam - the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and "invisible" Saraswati rivers; the 16th-century Allahabad Fort built by Mughal Emperor Akbar; Hanuman Temple; and Anand Bhavan, one of the country’s best-running museums in memory of Jawahar Lal Nehru.

Later in the day, you will be escorted to your hotel in Varanasi.

Day 10: Varanasi Sightseeing

In the early morning, a boat excursion on the Ganges River will start your day. You will see devotees performing their daily bathing and the cremation ceremony at Manikarnika and Harishchandra Ghats. Next, you will head to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most famous temples in Varanasi, also known as the Golden temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. After this, you will be escorted back to your hotel for breakfast.

After some leisure time in the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided old Kashi walking tour to the oldest markets, narrow and puzzled alleys, which will take you to an entirely different world. Seeing a 400-year-old saree market, the spice and grains market, and a magnificent mosque built by the Mughals.

In the evening, you will watch the thousand-year-old Ganga Aarti Ceremony during which worshippers pray near the water by the light of candles and lanterns.

Day 11: Sarnath And Fly To Delhi For Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and be driven to Sarnath and visit the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Here you will be guided to visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum (Closed on Friday).

After the visit, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight back to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport, you will board the flight back home. Bon voyage!
