      See the grandeur of the Mughal Empire, the majestic Red Fort. It has served as the capital and center of operations for the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for two centuries. This majestic monument is now used as a platform by the Prime minister of India to address the people of the republic on the eve of Independence Day.


      Board on to a rickshaw and enjoy a rickshaw ride through the intricate alleys of Chandni Chowk.


      We will visit Jama Masjid; Jama Masjid is the oldest and one of Asiaโ€™s largest mosques. It was built by Shah Jahan in the year 1656.


      We will visit India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament buildings.


      India Gate is an arch that was built to commemorate the death of 70,000 soldiers who sacrificed their lives during World War 1. The memorial even imprints the names of British and Indian soldiers who laid their lives during Afghan war. This splendid monument was designed by Edwin Luyten. There is an immortal flame that burns throughout the day and night as a mark of remembrance.


      In the close vicinity of the India Gate lies the Parliament House which is a circular colonnade building housing offices of various ministries and a well-stocked library. This imperial style architectural monument comprises of open air verandah and 144 columns. It is indeed a sight to watch.


      Next to the Parliament House is Rashtrapati Bhawan, the residential estate of President of India. This magnificent monument cannot be compared to any other monument in terms of its size, immensity and magnificence. Rashtrapati Bhawan houses 4 storeys and 340 rooms.

      Jaipur, commonly known as the Pink city of the country is the capital and the largest city of Rajasthan. The city is called the Pink city as most of the structures in the city are tinted with pink color, a pictorial treat to the eyes. The city is the melting pot of Indian tourism as it boasts of numerous well-known monuments.


      Afternoon city tour of Jaipur.


      We will visit City Palace and Museum.


      City Palace is a complex of palaces with many courtyards. Owing to the imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, the palace stands apart from other palaces and forts of Rajasthan. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the palace still serves as a residence for the royal family. The structure is a souvenir of the strong regal past, a royal symbol of magnificence.


      Near City Palace is Hawa Mahal, the distinctive landmark of the city. Popularly known as Palace Of Winds was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh to enable ladies of the royal household to watch the life and processions of the city and enjoy street festivals from the windows.


      Also visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Jai Singh II. It is one of the largest and best preserved observatories out of the five in the country. The observatory consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars in their orbits, ascertaining the declinations of planets, and determining the celestial altitudes.

      Morning excursion to Amer Fort.


      Ascend by painted elephant up to the fort. Amber Fort is set on top of the hill and is known for artistic style incorporating both Hindu and Rajput elements. Built from a pale yellow and pink sand stone and white marble is perfect fusion of art and architecture.


      Visit Diwaan-e-Aam and Diwaan-e-Khaas. Diwan-e-Aam or Hall of Public Audienceโ€™ was used to listen to grievances of people by the King there. The hall stands on two rows of ornamented pillars and opens on three sides. โ€˜Diwan e-Khaasโ€™ means the โ€˜Hall of Private Audience.โ€™ Here, kind used to meet his royal guests, ministers and other dignitaries.


      Sukh Niwaas also known as Sukh Mandir has beautiful sandal wood and ivory doors. It is also a great piece of engineering as a channel running through the hall would carry cool water which worked as an air cooler to keep it cool during summer. This was also called residence of pleasure as the kings used to spend time with their queens and sometimes with their mistresses.


      The Sheesh Mahal which means palace of mirrors is the most beautiful hall of Amer Fort. The Walls and ceiling are carved with beautiful paintings and flowers even those are made with pure glass. The reason for building the hall was that in those days, the queen could not sleep in open, but she loved to see the stars shining. The most stunning aspect of this hall is that if you light two candles, then the reflection converts that into thousand of stars.


      Rest of the day is free for you to explore local bazaars.

      In the morning leave for Ranthambore National Park. Arrive and check in at hotel.


      Ranthambore National Park is well known for its Tigers and is a photographerโ€™s delight. For a relatively small area, the park has a rich diversity of fauna and flora โ€“ species list includes 300 trees, 50 aquatic plants, 272 birds, 12 reptiles including the Marsh Crocodile & amphibians and 30 mammals.


      The landscape of park is dotted with ancient Banyan Trees, Dhok and Pipal trees and clusters of mango trees. The terrain here is made of massive rock formations, perennial lakes and streams. The forest suddenly opening up into large areas of Savannah. The landscape of Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary varies between impregnable forests and open bush land. The forest in the park is the typically dry with Dhok being the most prominent tree.

      Ranthambore National Park is the biggest national park in Rajasthan. Beautifully set against the backdrop of aravalli hills and on the banks of Chambal and Banฤs River, it gives a unique experience of wilderness. It is a host to a wide variety of amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds. Royal Bengal tigers are the prime attraction of this park. In spite of exotic flora and fauna, the park also houses impressive forts, ancient temples and magnificent palaces.


      Enjoy wild life safaris into the park in the morning and afternoon in a jeep or a canter. Jeeps are open topped 4 wheel drive vehicle which can accommodate up to 6 people at a time. Canter is an open 20 seater mini bus. The tour lasts approximately 3 ยฝ hours.

      Morning leave for Agra. Stop en-route to visit Fatehpur Sikri.


      Fatehpur Sikri is located at the distance of 37 kms from Agra and served as the short term capital city of the Mughal Empire under the sovereignty of Akbar the Great. This place was founded in 1569. Akbar ordered for the construction of grand mosque as a token of gratitude to the saint who had predicted that he would be blessed with a son. When prediction of the saint came true, Akbar shifted his capital from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri. He even constructed three palaces for his favorite wives. The city was a perfect representation of Indo Islamic style.


      Later Proceed to Agra. It is a destination for love and history. Situated on the banks of River Yamuna, Agra is one of the most visited tourist destination. Boasting the grandeur of one of the Seven Wonders of The World, Taj Mahal and various UNSECO World Heritage Sites, the city has been declared as the heritage place of India.


      Visit world famous Taj Mahal


      Defined as the most extravagant monument ever constructed for love, this splendid tomb has become the tourist symbol of India. It was built by the Emperor, Shah Jahan , in memory of his second wife, Mumtaz Mahal, whose death had left the Emperor heartbroken. The monument is renowned for its stylish domes, exceptionally carved screens, and for finest inlay work.


      Next stop is Agra Fort. It is an imperialist fort situated on the banks of river Yamuna and served as the center of operation for the Mughal emperor Akbar. The fortified walls of the fort encompass several palaces and houses like the Moti Masjid, Diwan-I-Am, Diwan-I-Khas, Musamman Burj, Jehangiri Mahal, Khaas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc. It is the finest architectural monument built in red sandstone.


      Then we shall set out for Sikandra, the tomb of Akbar. Located on the peripheries of the Agra city, the ruler started the building, his tomb during his lifespan, but later was concluded by his son Jahangir. The monument includes trimming lawns with exceptionally engraved gateways and white marble memorial. This monument flawlessly absorbs the best of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, Jain motifs, representing the new religion started by Akbar, the DEEN-E-ILAHI.

      Breakfast and full day dedicated to the visit of Agra and its famous monuments, first among all the Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world, a mausoleum in white marble and dedicated to wife Mumtaz Mahal symbol of eternal love. The day continues with a visit to the Agra Fort, home of the Mughal emperors and the Baby Taj, the Tomb by Itimad-Ud-Daulah. Overnight in Agra.

      In the Morning transfer to railway station to board a train for Jhansi.


      Upon arrival short drive to Orccha, which is situated on the banks of River Betwa. The historic town of Orccha is endowed with a tranquil environment. The erstwhile capital of Bundelkhand rulers was founded by the 16th century and is known for the architectural grandeur of numerous palaces, temples and monuments. This historic city has been a testimony to rich cultural heritage.


      Visit Rai Praveen Mahal and Raja Temple.


      Then proceed to Khajuraho.


      Khajuraho, commonly known as the Land of Moon was the erstwhile capital of Chandela rulers. Astonishing sculptures and architecture of buildings in this temple town is a perfect example depicting Indo- Aryan style of construction. Due to this fact, Khajuraho has been declared as a UNSECO World Heritage Site.

This display of bold images with such accuracy and exquisiteness has the quality of stimulating and thus have been a sight of astonishment of the world.


      Then drive to drive Bandhavgarh National Park


      Bandhavgarh situated in Madhya Pradesh is more than just a national park. Ever since its declaration as National park in 1968 under Project Tiger every possible effort has been made to protect the habitat. The result of which is the highest population of nearly extinct cats in the country. Bandhavgarh National Park is home to majestic royal Bengal tigers. The wilderness of tigers steals the show at the park. The best time to see the animals is during dawn or dusk when jungles are bustling with activities. The park has been divided into three major zones named as Tala, Magdi and Bamera.

      Early in the morning set out for the adventurous trial on the Jeep Safari to spot the tigers in the national park.


      Bandhavgarh National Park was the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa and today it is a famous natural hub for White Tigers. The popularity of this park lies in the fact that it has highest density of tigers in India. It is also called a white tiger country. The chances of spotting a tiger here is higher than any other national park in India. Apart from tigers, it is also home to leopards, wild boars, rhesus, gaur, nilgais, spotted deer, sambar, dholes, sloth bears, macaques, black faced langurs, hyenas, jackals, foxes, wild dogs, chinkaras and ratels.


      Take another safari in the afternoon.

The park also has good number of Leopards but their sight is rare. There are also about 400 Swamp Deer, the only sub species of genus. Besides these, if lucky you may also come across Indian Bison or Gaur coarse grazer that weighs up to one ton and is one of the most awesome creatures on Earth. Sambar Deer are the largest in number. A pack of wolf or indolent sloth bear is also a very exciting sight.
