Begin your exploration in Fes, the first and oldest capital, at the Blue Gate, known locally as Bab Boujloud. Passing through this historic entrance, youโ€™ll step back in time as you navigate the labyrinthine medieval medina, characterized by its narrow streets, bustling souks, traditional crafts, and the sight of mules and donkeys transporting goods. Next, visit the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter, and marvel at the Royal Palace gate. Your driver will then take you to an ancient fortress perched on a hill, offering a panoramic view of the entire city. On your return, delve into the art of 12th-century ceramic craftsmanship. As the landscape changes, the stunning vista of the Middle Atlas will gradually unfold before you. Our journey will take us to Ifrane, often dubbed the "Moroccan Swiss city," a charming village built in the style of Swiss architecture. Weโ€™ll pause in one of the worldโ€™s largest cedar forests, where youโ€™ll have the opportunity to encounter and feed the Barbary apes (macaques).

      Weโ€™ll stop for lunch in Midelt, a town between mountain ranges. As the scenery shifts from verdant greens to arid yellows, a dry breeze will hint at our approach to the south, with occasional glimpses of desert sands as we pass through Errachidia, the last major city before reaching the Merzouga desert.

Along the way, youโ€™ll encounter ancient underground irrigation canals, ingeniously constructed by Berber tribes between the 11th and 14th centuries, showcasing their remarkable creativity in channeling water from the mountains to their groves.


      Weโ€™ll stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant before continuing the journey through Tinghir, eventually reaching the impressive Dades Gorge. Here, youโ€™ll have free time to stroll along the massive canyon walls, following the path of the water below. As you continue, the landscape will reveal the unique architecture of ancient sandcastles hidden within palm oases. One of the regionโ€™s wonders, known as the "Monkey Toes," offers a stunning panoramic view. By evening, youโ€™ll arrive at your riad, where a lovely dinner and a restful night await you.
