  • Day 1 Blarney And The Rock Of Cashel

      Blarney And The Rock Of Cashel

      We leave Dublin behind and make our way to our first destination, Rock of Cashel, dubbed as the largest collection of medieval buildings left in Ireland this is sure to put you in the right mood for what we have in store. Then itโ€™s off for a bit of kissing and to the famous Blarney Stone. Legend has it that whoever kisses it, gets the gift of the gab, and your fellow bus buddies will be sure to tell you if it works! Follow us as we head to the fishing village of Kinsale, a gourmetโ€™s utopia. Head to The Spaniard, an olde world inn perched high above Kinsale, serving up Spanish Ruby Ports and West Cork black pudding or if itโ€™s all fish you want, how about Fishy, Fishy? Meander the picturesque streets and find silversmiths, galleries and antique shops before settling in for the evening at The Armada bar or The Silent Banjo, which unlike the name suggests, is jumping with music and โ€˜jammersโ€™ (packed) with locals Known as one of the best food hubs in Ireland. Meet up with our friend Barry for a guided historical amble through the narrow streets of Kinsale before grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many renowned restaurants on the water.

  • Day 2 Killarney National Park And Some Of The Sights Of The Ring Of Kerry

      Killarney National Park And Some Of The Sights Of The Ring Of Kerry

      Itโ€™s bye-bye Kinsale and hello to some of the sights of the Ring of Kerry; Stop off in Kenmare, a village full of treacle scones, Guinness breads, quirky shops and curiosities. Have your phones fully charged to take photos of Mollโ€™s Gap, ladies view and Ross castle in Killarney National Park. Built in the 15th century, this stronghold is said to have a resident ghost, that of Oโ€™Donoghue Ross, the chieftain who came to an untimely end, when he allegedly fell out of one of its windows! 

      The rest of the day belongs to Dingle, home to Inch is a strand with miles of beaches. 

      Tรณg go bรณg รฉ (take it easy) and wander round its craft shops selling Irish flutes and seaweed cheeses. As evening draws in, take a trip to hardware store, Foxy Johnโ€™s. But donโ€™t be alarmed, the only DIY youโ€™ll be doing is ordering a drink from its fully stocked bar. And did we tell you about the Leather Shop, Dick Macโ€™s? It comes with a pub, a gang of lively locals and a charismatic bartenders.

  • Day 3 World Famous Slea Head Drive And Kayaking With Dolphins

      World Famous Slea Head Drive And Kayaking With Dolphins

      We will start the morning with a kayak on the beautiful Dingle bay and with a bit of luck of the Irish you can spot some beautifull dolphins. If you havenโ€™t got sea legs, stay on terra firma with a walk on this beautiful peninsula or just chill and do some shopping in Dingle. 

      For the afternoon we will go on the wonderful Slea Head drive, amazing scenery and you feel blessed you have an excellent driver on the small and windy roads. 

      Then itโ€™s back for another night in Dingle and a spot of DIY in the local hardware store, Foxy Johns (wink, wink).

  • Day 4 Sheepdog Demonstration And The Mighty Cliffs Of Moher

      Sheepdog Demonstration And The Mighty Cliffs Of Moher

      We leave Dingle and travel north, taking in spectacular views of The Connor Pass and Castlegregory along the way. Prepare to be left amazed at a traditional sheepdog demonstration with our friends at West Kerry Sheepdog. The skill of the farmer and his furry friend will leave you flabbergasted. Next, we take the short ferry ride to County Clare, home of the world-famous Cliffs of Moher and take in the Burren National Park. The cliffs in their wonder, need to be seen to be appreciated and a guided hike with the roaring Wild Atlantic provides the perfect soundtrack.

      We finish the day in one of Irelandโ€™s most celebrated and lively small towns, Doolin. Break out your dancing shoes as youโ€™ll be sure to do a bit of toe-tapping in the home of traditional Irish music

  • Day 5 The Burren National Park And Bohemian Galway
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      The Burren National Park And Bohemian Galway

      Then itโ€™s north to The Burren, 125 square miles of limestone rock and The Burren Centre where youโ€™ll see dolmens and megalithic tombs, some older than the Egyptian pyramids.  Weโ€™ll take in a portal tomb at Poulnabrone, locally referred to as โ€˜Hole of the Sorrowsโ€™, the oldest megalithic burial site in Ireland, dating back to 3000BC. Then weโ€™re off to Galway, the City of the Tribes and the home of the Claddagh Ring to chase down the ceol agus craic, (music and fun), street performers, artists, buskers and the last of the Bohemians. To end your trip youโ€™ll meet one of our local friends for a Walkinโ€™ Talkinโ€™ Tastinโ€™ tour of Galway! Have them point out all their favourite spots while trying traditional Irish cuisine, tasting locally distilled gin and learning about the rich history of Galway. 

      Then itโ€™s time to say your goodbyes! Your guide will help you arrange transportation back to Dublin via one of Irelandโ€™s GoBus or Citylink. Donโ€™t worry, if you end up falling in love with Galway as much as we are, you can always postpone your bus till the next morning!
