Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

You arrive at Istanbul International Airport (IST) and start this amazing experience in Turkey. Upon arrival you have the transfer to the hotel. The shuttle will wait for you at the airport exit at gate 9 with a sign with your name, for an hour and 15 minutes, starting from the landing time.

If before or during your flight you suffer any change or delay from the airline and/or you cannot pick up your bags within that time, you must contact the emergency contact to notify that the transfer should wait for you and/or at what time you should be picked up. In case of not notifying, and if the transferor couldn't find you in the estimated time and not having news from you, will proceed to withdraw and be considered with no-show, thus losing service.

Note: Check-in at the hotel is available from 2:00 pm. Itinerary times are approximate. You must send your flight details at least 21 days before your experience starts, that way your transfer will be coordinate properly.

Day 2: Free Day in Istanbul - Optional City Tour

In the morning you will take your breakfast at the hotel and you will have the rest of the day free to acclimate, rest or know the city on your own.

You can make the optional tour "Full day tour in Estambúl", where you will make a visit to the old city.

You can visit the Blue Mosque, also known as the Sultan Ahmet Mosque and famous for its interior decoration. After the mosque, you will go to the Roman Hippodrome, from the Byzantine period and then to St. Sophia of the 6th century.

You will have a delicious typical meal in a restaurant, then visit the Topkapi Palace, the first residence of the sultans of the Ottoman Empire and famous for its excellent collection of jewelry and porcelain.

Day 3: Istanbul - Troy - Canakkale (Approx. 300Kms.)

After breakfast, you will depart by bus to Çanakkale, located on the Asiatica shore of the Dardanelles Strait.

You will continue to Troy, an ancient city that evokes by itself another poetic name; Iliad of Homer.

You will visit the famous Trojan Horse, which served to hide the warriors.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner.

Accommodation: Hotel Kolin, Parion, Ramada Kazdağlari (4 stars) or similar - Shared double room* (if you choose rate 1-10) or private single room (if you choose option 1-1) or private double room (if you choose option 2-10). Day 4: Çanakkale - Pergamo - Esmirna (İzmir) o Kuşadası (Aprox. 400 KMS.)

After a rich breakfast, you will meet the guide to continue to the city of Pergamo, one of the cultural, commercial and medical centers of the past.

You will visit the famous Asclepion, a building dedicated to the God of Medicine.

You will end the day traveling to Izmir, where you will have a panoramic tour and transfer to the hotel.

Accommodation: In Izmir: Hotel Movenpick, Swissotel, Hilton Garden Inn Bayraklı (4 stars) or similar. In Kusadasi: Ramada Hotel & Suites, Korumar, Marina (4 stars) or similar - Shared double room* (if you choose rate 1-10) or private single room (if you choose option 1-1) or private double room (if you choose option 2-10). The room will have 2 beds and you can share it with a person of your same gender or not.

Note: Itinerary schedules are approximate. From 15 March to 15 November you visit Izmir and from 15 November to 15 March you visit Kusadasi because during the winter the days are usually shorter. This can vary from season to season, a couple of weeks before your trip will be confirmed if this part of the itinerary will be made in Izmir or Kusadasi.

Day 5: Izmir or Kusadasi - Ephesus - Pamukkale (approx. 200 kms.)

After a delicious breakfast, you will leave for Ephesus, the best preserved ancient city of Asia Minor, which during the 1st and 2nd centuries had a population of 250,000 inhabitants and monopolized the wealth of the Middle East.

You will visit the Temple of Hadrian, the Roman Baths, the Library, the Odeon, the Theatre, among other important places. You will get to know the House of the Virgin Mary, supposed last home of the Mother of Jesus, and end the visit in the leather outlet, where you will see the famous leather fabrics of the Aegean region.

You will continue the journey towards Pamukkale, to visit the ancient Hierapolis and the "castle of algodon", natural wonder of gigantic white waterfalls, stalactites and natural pools formed over the centuries by the passage of the waters of calcareous salts, coming from hot springs.

Accommodation: Hotel Lycus River Thermal, Colossae, Richmond Thermal (3.5 stars) o similar - Shared double room* (if you choose rate 1-10) or private single room (if you choose option 1-1) or private double room (if you choose option 2-10). Day 6: Pamukkale - Cappadocia (approx. 600 kms.)

You finish your breakfast and meet the guide to leave for Cappadocia.

Along the way, you can visit the largest inn of the Seljucida era: the "Kervansaray" (Pousada de los Caravanes), a large complex with its bedrooms, stables, etc., which was used by merchants who passed through the area.

You will continue to the ancient region of Cappadocia; fascinating region of lunar landscapes, formed for centuries on the thick and soft layer of lavas sculpted by the two nearby volcanoes.

Day 7: Cappadocia - Optional Hot air balloon fligh

At dawn, you can participate in the "hot air balloon fligh", a unique experience on rock formations, fairy chimneys, natural formations and lunar landscapes".

After breakfast you will join a full day tour of the Cappadocia region which is located between three cities of Turkey; Kirsehir, Nigde, Kayseri.

You will visit the valley of Goreme, incredible Byzantine monastic complex, composed of churches excavated in the rock with beautiful frescoes, the troglodyte villages of Uchisar; natural fortress, Ortahisar the fairy chimneys of Urgup, Pasabag’s duplicate and triplicate fireplaces, Avanos potters' village, the underground city, built with deposit of cereals, bedrooms and ventilation wells, which was used as shelter by the Christians of the time.

At the end of the day you will finish the visit in a carpet cooperative where you can see how the Turkish carpets are woven.

Day 8: Cappadocia - Ankara (Approx. 300 Kms.)

You will have your breakfast and leave for Ankara, capital of the Turkish Republic, passing by the salt lake.

After arriving in Ankara you will visit the city and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, founder of the republic.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner.

Accommodation: Hotel Radisson Blu, Moevenpick, Holiday Inn (4.5 stars) or similar - Shared double room* (if you choose rate 1-10) or private single room (if you choose option 1-1) or private double room (if you choose option 2-10). Day 9: Ankara - Istanbul (approx. 450 kms.)

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready to head to Istanbul. You will have the rest of the day free to rest or meet on your own.

You can make the optional tour "Full day tour in Istanbul: Bosphorus and Bazaars with lunch", where you will visit the Egyptian Market. Then you will head towards the port for a boat excursion through the Bosphorus Strait, to appreciate the fabulous panoramic view of the villages, the palaces and the fascinating wooden houses.

You will have a delicious meal in a typical restaurant of peescados, then visit the Grand Bazaar, one of the most cramped bazaars in the world.

Meals: Breakfast and lunch.

Day 10: Istanbul - City of origin

This day is only for your return, if your flight schedule allows you will take breakfast at the hotel and then go together with the transfer to the airport.
