Bangkok city tour- Temples- Great Palace- Free afternoon

After breakfast, you’ll board the bus for a city tour along Bangkok’s main avenues, making your first stop in the lively Chinatown district. Here, you'll visit Wat Traimit, also known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha, which houses a 5-ton solid gold Buddha statue. This statue holds great historical significance, as it remained hidden for centuries under a layer of plaster to prevent its destruction during wartime.

The next stop is Wat Pho, or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, home to one of the largest reclining Buddhas in the world, measuring 46 meters in length. On the soles of its feet, you’ll see an incredible engraving of 108 symbols representing positive actions in Buddhism.

After returning to the hotel, you’ll visit the state-owned gemstone factory.

      Optional: Grand Palace Visit

Explore the Grand Palace, one of the most iconic landmarks in Bangkok and the former official residence of the Thai monarchs from the 18th century until the mid-20th century. This majestic complex is renowned for its exquisite architecture, blending traditional Thai style with Renaissance influences.

The tour also includes a visit to Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, considered the most sacred temple in all of Thailand.

Note: For the Grand Palace visit, appropriate attire is required — long pants to the ankles and a shirt or t-shirt with sleeves down to the elbow (no tank tops or low-cut tops).

      Bangkok- Free day

Today is a free day to explore the city at your own pace — take in its rich culture, modern financial districts, or delicious gastronomy.

As an optional activity, you can book the Floating Market + Train Market Tour, where you'll head to Mae Klong to visit the fascinating train market set up directly on the railway tracks. You may even get the chance to see the train pass through the market (train schedule is irregular, so sightings are not guaranteed).

Afterward, you'll visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, considered the most important in the country. You’ll enjoy a motorboat ride through the canal area until you reach the market itself, where you'll have free time to walk around, explore local products, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

After the market visit, you'll return to Bangkok and have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy at your leisure.

Note: Spanish-speaking guide. Note: Additional or alternative activities (at extra cost) are available under the “extras” section. The Floating Market + Train Market Tour is one of the available options. More details can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

After breakfast, we’ll depart from the hotel and begin our journey to Chiang Rai. Our first stop will be at Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. Unlike any other temple in Thailand, its surreal sculptures and immaculate white color — symbolizing the purity of Buddha — never fail to impress. Although still under construction, it has become one of the country’s most iconic tourist attractions.

Our next visit will be to an incredible tea plantation, where we’ll have the opportunity to taste different varieties and enjoy lunch in a truly unique setting. After lunch, we’ll head to the stunning Wat Huay Pla Kang, home to the largest Buddha statue in Northern Thailand.

We’ll then visit the picturesque Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) before beginning our return trip to Chiang Mai.

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by departure to the Eco Valley Elephant Conservation Center, where you'll spend the day surrounded by elephants in a beautiful natural environment. Eco Valley promotes sustainable tourism that respects and protects the well-being of elephants.

Here, you'll learn about elephant life and anatomy by visiting Thailand’s only museum dedicated entirely to elephant culture. Then, you'll prepare their food using a variety of fruits, vegetables, and sugarcane. Afterward, you'll walk alongside the elephants through the center’s gardens until reaching a small waterfall, where you'll witness how the elephants play in the water — and you may even join them for a refreshing bath.

You’ll also have the chance to participate in one of the center’s most fascinating projects: the production of recycled paper made from elephant dung.

Once the activity is over, you’ll enjoy lunch, followed by a visit to an orchid plantation, where you'll admire the unparalleled beauty of this remarkable flower species. After lunch, return transfer to the hotel and free time for the rest of the afternoon.

You’ll end the day back at your hotel in Chiang Mai.
