Begin your European experience upon arrival at Madrid - Barajas International Airport (MAD), where you will meet your guide and then head to the hotel where you will spend the night.

Check-in at the hotel, then you can take the opportunity to rest or go out at your own pace to get to know Madrid, the capital of Spain, known for its culture, museums, and active nightlife.

Note: Check-in at the hotel is available from 2:00 pm.

Wake up and start the day with a nutritious breakfast at the hotel and then take a panoramic tour of Madrid.

During the tour through its most important avenues, you learn different historical and interesting facts about the different squares and buildings.

Some of the iconic places you will see are Gran Vía, Cibeles and the City Hall, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de España, Plaza de Oriente where the Royal Palace is located, Santiago Bernabéu, Plaza Castilla and more.

You have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy this beautiful city. You can take the opportunity to visit a museum such as Sorolla or the Nacional del Prado (not included). You can also eat in a typical restaurant and try the unique dishes of the region such as cocido madrileño (not included) or shop in its commercial and local centers.

You can take the opportunity to optionally visit the monumental City of Toledo, just 33 minutes from Madrid by train (not included)*.

Also to walk through its streets and get to know the charming corners that this city hides, buy souvenirs or eat in a typical restaurant.

*Optional 1/2 excursion to Toledo from Madrid: Upon arrival in Toledo, the city tour begins on foot until you reach the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and contemplate the facade of the Primate Cathedral (Gothic style), the former Palace of Justice and the City Council. You will walk through the narrow streets of the old Jewish Quarter to enter the Church of Santo Tomé and admire the monumental painting "The Burial of Count Orgaz", a masterpiece by El Greco. You will continue to the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, witness to coexistence of the "Three Cultures. You will make a panoramic tour by bus around the city with a brief stop to admire the urban landscape from the other side of the river and take pictures. Later you will visit the Damascene factory, a well-known Toledo art inherited from the ancient artisans The visit ends with the return to Madrid.

Note: This experience includes buffet breakfasts served at the hotel, which usually include: eggs, cold meats, fruits, vegetables, bread, yogurt and cereals, juices and coffee.
