The best time to visit Italy is between April and October, when summer makes this destination a paradise. However, from November to March it is low season and the rate is lower. Its mild winter makes it the time to visit historical and archaeological sites.

The climate is temperate, with more than 260 days of sunshine per year. Average temperatures are 10° to 15°C between January and April; 20° to 27°C between May and August, and 24° to 15°C between September and December.

Where does the experience start? Will you pick me up at the airport or hotel?

You will be picked up on arrival at Milan airport to take you to the Hotel where your guide will be waiting for you. You must send your flight itinerary through the chat at least two weeks before the start of your experience to coordinate the transfer. If before or during your flight you suffer itinerary modifications due to the airline and/or delays due to loss of baggage, you must notify via the emergency phone (not chat) to manage the corresponding changes in the airport-hotel transfer. Are there any medical or vaccination requirements?

Accepted Answer

Italy doesn&#x27;t require any kind of vaccine to enter the country, however it is advisable to have routine vaccines, including tetanus, typhoid, chickenpox, hepatitis A and B. 
In order to board your flight, the airline will probably ask you for a VOCID-19 vaccination certificate with at least two doses, applied at least 15 days before the date of your flight and/or a PCR Negative test.

What if I get sick or hurt on the trip and can’t continue?

During your experience it is essential to notify your guide soon any discomfort or eventuality, so they can attend you and give you the necessary support. In very serious cases medical care is organized with the insurer. It is advisable to always travel with insurance for higher expenses.

What currency do you recommend I bring? Where can I change?

Accepted Answer

The currency used during the experience is the Euro (€, EUR), we recommend you to change to the local currency on your arrival in the country, it is possible to change at some exchange offices, airport and ATMs. Not all stores accept international credit and debit cards, so it is always recommended to have some cash on hand.

What does this experience not include? What are the extra costs during the tour?

The experience does not include international or domestic flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, meals, drinks, tickets to museums and sites of interest, and transfers not described in the itinerary. During your experience you will have free time to visit museums and tourist places not included, so we recommend carrying an approximate daily of $100EUR.

Once you have finished the activities during the day it is possible to have free time to enjoy at your own rhythm, the guide will inform you.

During your free time you can get to know the city better, visit a restaurant, walk the streets, some recommendations: 
Rome: Visit the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, Piazza Navona and more. 
Florence: Visit the Accademia Gallery, the Cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiori and more.
Venice: Take a gondola ride
Milan: Visit the Brera Art Gallery
While in destination you can consult with the guide the optional excursions to which you can integrate.

If the experience includes meals, how are the dishes?

This experience includes 6 buffet breakfasts served at the hotel, which include eggs, cold meats, fruits, yogurt, juices and/or coffee.

What is the average price of meals not included?

Accepted Answer

The price of the meal varies according to the dish and place, you can find well-served meals at $10 and dinners at $15, drinks such as bottled water, soft drinks (sodas) and juices at approximately $3.

The accommodations during the experience are in comfortable hotels of category 3 and 4 stars. 
Milan: Hotel Best Western Madison or similar, private DLB hab.

Florence- Hotel Raffaello or similar, hab DBL private. 
Rome - Grand Hotel Fleming or similar, hab DBL private.
In most hotels, the triple room consists of 2 beds, or double bed plus a sofa bed or folding bed

What is the minimum and maximum age? Does the price change for minors?

The maximum recommended age for this experience is 75 years with excellent physical condition, it is important to consider that during the itinerary you usually walk a lot and road transfers are around 3 hours.
The experience does not require a minimum age requirement, however minors must be accompanied at all times by two responsible adults (+18 years) and share a room. 
Children + 8 years old at the time of travel have to pay a regular rate.

If I travel with minors, how should I book?

Accepted Answer

If you travel with minors you must book in the following way, depending on the number of adults and/or minors and their ages:
For children under 0-3 years: 
The "$0 USD" rate applies for children between 0 and 3 years 11 months at the time of the trip, traveling with 2 responsible adults (+18 years), they will not have seat on transfers, bed in the rooms and will share food with adults. 
If only 1 adult travel with 1 under 0-3 years old, only 1 adult fee must be paid plus an individual supplement sharing SGL hab with a single bed. It is possible (depending on availability in the hotels) to request folding cot directly at destination. 
You can travel with a stroller if it is completely foldable. It is important to consider that during the itinerary there are transfers of more than 3 hours.
For children under 4-7 years: 
The rate described in the area of "extras" for children from 4 to 7 years and 11 months completed at the time of travel, applies if 1 minor on that age range travel accompanied by 2 responsible adults (+18 years) and share a TPL room. 
If only travel 1 adult with a child under 4-7 years old; the child must pay regular adult fee and will share DBL room. If only travel 1 adult with two minors (regardless of their age); one of the minors will have to pay adult fare and the other minor the rate corresponding to their age, they will share DBL room and one of the minors will share bed.
Children over 8 years old at the time of travel pay adult fee.

Wifi is available at each of the hotels where you&#x27;ll stay, as for coverage it is recommended to buy a SIM card on arrival at your destination so you can have mobile data during your stay.

The voltage both in most European countries is 230V with a frequency of 50 Hz. The pegs are type E and the plugs have two round pegs, type F. Colombian and Mexican travelers need an adapter.

What time can I arrive by day 1?

The first day is exclusive for your arrival in Milan, a shuttle waits for you upon arrival at the Milan International Airport - -Malpensa (MXP). It is important to share with the guide the schedule of your flights through the chat of your reservation to manage your transfer. In case your itinerary changes you must inform the emergency contact so that your shuttle does not leave without you and you must arrive at the hotel on your own. Check-in at the hotel is normally available from 2:00 pm.

What time do we finish on the last day?

Accepted Answer

The last day is exclusive for the return to your hometown. The transfer to the Rome-Fiumicino International Airport ( Leonardo da Vinci) (FCO) is not included, you must arrive on your own or add it separately (you can find it in the "Extras" section depending on the schedule you want. Check-out at the hotel is normally available until noon, 12:00.

What physical condition do I need to complete this experience?

During the experience you have some activities that require a little physical effort, such as irregular terrain walks, in addition to long road trips, so it is necessary to have good physical condition since you will stay active and you will visit different places.

Do I need travel insurance? What should my policy cover?

Accepted Answer

To visit Italy it is not obligatory to have travel insurance, it is recommended to hire one that covers any eventuality such as delayed or cancelled flights, as well as it is also suggested to have a higher health insurance for any type of emergency.

Do I need any special equipment? What kind of clothes do I need?

Comfortable clothing, walking shoes, coat, sunglasses, sunscreen, cap or hat, swimsuit, some small backpack to carry your belongings during the day, a bottle of water.

What size backpack or suitcase do you recommend me to bring?

Accepted Answer

It is recommended to bring a backpack or lightweight suitcase of maximum 10 kilos for daily departures. You can carry a suitcase up to 25 kilos (depending on your airline) that you can keep at the hotel and/or truck during the days off and transfers, we recommend taking only what is necessary and leaving space for your souvenirs.

You need to check directly with the embassy of your country to confirm if there is any visa requirement to visit Italy. This will depend on your nationality. It is also important that your passport is valid for at least six months from the time you return.

How is the internal transport?

Internal transfers are by air-conditioned bus. Panoramic tours can be by bus or van, depending on the size of the group. Airport transfers are individual in private cars. During the road trips with long distances a stop is made every 2 hours and a half to eat, move a little body and use the bathrooms. The buses have Wi-Fi, air conditioning and are no more than 7 years old
