Day 1: Arrival at Auckland

Begin this exciting experience in Auckland, a major city located on the North Island of New Zealand.

Land at Auckland International Airport (AKL), the largest and most important airport in the country, where you meet a tour representative for your transfer to the hostel.

After checking in you have free time to rest or explore on your own a bit of this beautiful port city, you can visit a bar or cafe (not included).

In the evening you meet your fellow travelers, enjoy a nice time at the hostel, and share your excitement for the adventures you will experience in the coming days.

Day 2: City Tour Auckland

This day you enjoy Auckland and discover the wonders offered by "the city of candles" as it is also known.

After breakfast, start the tour of the largest city in New Zealand, with the guide and your travel fellows you visit the most emblematic places of Auckland, including Queen Street, the main shopping street, where you find a variety of stores, restaurants, and bars.

Visit the famous Sky Tower, a telecommunications tower that has become one of the main tourist attractions for its modern design and viewpoints.

Tour around the Harbour Viaduct area and have free time to visit it on your own.

Discover Auckland's nightlife and enjoy the wonderful sunset in the harbor city.

Take the opportunity to visit a bar and share with your guide and fellow travelers.

Return to the hostel to rest and spend the night.

Day 3: Auckland - Waitomo Glowworm Cave - Hobbiton - Rotorua

Finish breakfast and say goodbye to Auckland to embark on a journey of about 2.5 hours that takes you to Waitomo, known worldwide for its amazing cave system.

Board a boat and begin your visit to one of New Zealand's most important natural attractions, Glowworm Cave. Walk through the labyrinth of subway rivers while observing the impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Amaze yourself by the thousands of glow worms that inhabit the caves, which give you a unique view, similar to a galaxy with countless turquoise blue lights, without a doubt, you will live an unforgettable experience.

Continue the day with a visit to Hobbiton, a location where you enter the lush grasslands of the Shire.

Explore this magical place that served as a set for the Lord of the Rings saga and the Hobbit trilogy. Even if you're not a fan of the movies or books, you'll marvel at Alexander Farm, the film set, and the enchanting stories of the place.

Then visit the Green Dragon Inn, a Hobbiton inn where you enjoy a refreshing drink before continuing on your way.

After about 1 hour on the road, arrive at Rotorua, a city located in the volcanic zone on a lake with the same name.

Check-in and settle in at the hostel to rest and recuperate after a spectacular day.

Day 4: Rotorua - Kerosene Creek - Wai-O-Tapu - Rotorua

Spend a fascinating morning at Kerosene Creek Hot Springs, one of the main attractions of Rotorua, where you find a beautiful thermal waterfall that gives life to this natural paradise.

Enjoy your time at the water and immerse yourself in the steamy breeze and the light scent of sulfur, feel your body fill with vitality, and take pictures of the wonderful scenery surrounded by rocks and trees.

Marvel at the Wai-O-Tapu geothermal active zone, where you enter a colorful landscape with more than 8 kilometers of craters, natural pools, and fumaroles.

Walk along trails, walkways, and bridges while you discover the different shades that the minerals offer to the topography and take some of the best pictures of the tour.

Have the afternoon free to enjoy on your own and at your own pace.

If you wish, you can simply relax and walk around the area, otherwise, you can do something more active and exciting such as zorbing, which consists of rolling down a hill in an inflatable ball (not included).

Day 5: Kuirau Park- Hot Springs - Maori Experience

This day you continue enjoying the thermal wonders of Rotorua.

Get ready and go out to Kuirau Park, located next to the city center.

During the visit, you find a variety of trails, which lead you to different areas with great geothermal activity.

On your way, you discover different thermal wells as well as numerous bubbling mud pools.

Also have the opportunity to soak your feet and enjoy a spa treatment, a super adventure in which in addition to rejuvenating the skin you also relax and let yourself be pampered by nature.

In the evening you travel back in time and go back to the time of warriors and ancestral traditions.

Visit a Maori village, where you enjoy a classic feast while witnessing spooky shows.

Spend an unforgettable night in the best Maori style, proud to be known as the indigenous people of New Zealand.

Finish the day and return to the hostel where you rest and get ready to leave Rotorua and continue your journey.

Day 6: Rotorua - Sunset on a sailboat - Taupo

Have breakfast and say goodbye to Rotorua to travel for an hour by road to Taupo, a charming city located in the heart of the North Island next to the largest lake in the country.

Check-in at the hostel and have free time to stroll around the lake, visit the Taupo Museum (not included), eat trout (not included) a typical dish of the region and prepared with Lake Taupo fish.

FInish the afternoon with an unforgettable ride aboard a sailboat on the lake, surrounded by Maori engravings and lush vegetation.

Marvel at the magical sunset that this natural scenery presents and appreciate the different colors that are reflected in the sky.

End the tour with the stars shining over the volcanic landscape of Taupo and the experience of having witnessed one of the best sunsets in New Zealand.

Day 7: Huka Waterfalls - Hot Springs - Taupo

Wake up and get ready for an exciting walk to Huka Falls, a natural phenomenon in which you witness a waterfall that exceeds 220 thousand liters per second.

Begin the adventure with a short walk along a path that gives you the most wonderful natural scenery located between the native forest and the Waikato River; in addition, during the tour, you hear the loud sound of the water.

Walk over the bridge that is located at the top of the falls, enjoy the impressive panorama formed at the moment when the Waikato River narrows and falls 11 meters to a natural pool.

After witnessing the roar of the water and the power of mother nature, continue with a visit a little quieter but just as fun.

Dive into the natural pools and relax while your body absorbs the minerals and benefits of the thermal water.

Rest and have free time to take some pictures and videos, explore the area and have a nice time in one of the most visited places in the North Island of New Zealand.

In the evening you rest at the hostel and prepare your backpacks to leave Taupo the next day.

Day 8: Taupo - Auckland - Diner - Night out

Finish your breakfast and take all your belongings to leave Taupo and drive for 3 hours along the road to Auckland.

Have the afternoon free to enjoy, relax and explore on your own. You can take the opportunity to visit a regional restaurant (not included) and also check if the local Kiwi or Maori accent is the most seductive in the world.

Enjoy the last night of this unique experience with a delicious and elegant dinner in the company of your guide and your fellow travelers.

Finish dinner and get ready to celebrate to the fullest and see a bit of Auckland as night falls.

During the night out, visit some places where you can share a nice time and have a drink (not included).

Finally, return to the hostel, rest, and recover your energy.

Day 9: Auckland - City of origin

Today, end your adventure on the North Island of New Zealand.
