Besides these, Visually, on the Tianzi mountain top, we can experience the most spectacular view of sandstone peak forest in the park featured by its sharp and slim shape. itโs one of the highlights in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.

Golden Whip Stream is regarded as the 1 of the most beautiful Streams in China. Itโs 6 km long with a well-paved flat walkway at the bottom of valley, which takes us about 2 hours for walking between the 2 ends. it is also where we can see the bottom view of the Avatar Mountain Scenery,very different from the top.On both sides of the walkway, there are hundreds of different-shaped sandstone peaks erecting by a lovely stream,attached with plenty of interesting legends and stories given from locals.the other interesting part is,if lucky, we can see wild monkeys which would bring more fun and make you feel closer to the mother nature.

Day 2: Hotel-Baofeng Lake-Yellow Dragon Cave-Glass Bridge.Overnight in Wulingyuan Center
Stop At: Baofeng Lake, Suoxi Town, Wulingyuan District Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
This pretty lake lies high on top of sandstone mountains. At this spot, we could enjoy the view of Avatar Mountains on water, while, hearing lovely Tujia folk songs from young girls and boys in wooden boat and knowing interesting stories of the lake. Itโs a very relaxing trip.

I have to tell you this is the 2nd largest Cave in Asia, and this tour only involves 2/5 of it, but it already takes about 2.5 hours to see its 3 layers and 13 halls by boat and foot to appreciate the gorgeous view from hundreds of Stalagmite and Stalactite. and it's the only place to see the inner world of amazing Zhangjiajie.

Day 3: Hotel-Dehang Miao Village-Fenghuang Ancient Town.Overnight in Fenghuang
Stop At: Dehang Canyon, West of Jishou, Jishou China
โDehangโ, in the language of Miao Minority, means:โBeautiful Valleyโ. Sure it is.The view there is sort of like Zhangjiajie. No wonder, it has been taken as the most beautiful Miao Village in Western Hunan. Besides seeing the Miao Village,, there are 2 lovely hikes, we can do either of them as common practice.1st one is to a waterfall called โFlying Sandโ (2 hours flat walk forward&back), the other is to a stunning view platform called โ Questioning Skyโ(3 hours with a half part hiking up).

Day 4: Fenghuang Ancient Town-Sitting Dragon Gorgre Or Red Stone Forest-Furong Town.Overnight in Zhangjiajie Downtown.
Stop At: Zuolong Gorges, Hexi Town, Guzhang County 416304 China
Surprisingly, to most of my past client, Sitting Dragon Gorge hidden in the deep mountain area turns out to be their favorite spot in western Hunan, because itโs where they can enjoy a fun nature adventure and have an authentic culture experience by interacting with locals in their village. The 1st part of the tour is a 1.5 hoursโ hike-up with iron chains in a narrow but beautiful gorge decorated by waterfalls and green-covered stones.when the hike up ends on the top, we will see 2 pretty villages,where we can begin the 2nd part of tour activity: a lovely home stay offered by hospitable Tujia people. For one day and one night, we really join in their life to feel the interesting difference of living style.. They cook or they teach us to cook food picked from their backyard, it cannot be more healthy. At night, itโs so quiet that you can hear a needle dropping also make it a place to listen to the wind and rain, a place to escape from the disturbance of city. when wake up in the morning, we may feel ourselves being purified in heart. This is a great great spot for a really special travel experience combining nature and culture. Personally, My favorite, too.

This spot is a very less traveled one hidden in western part of Hunan province. with 1.5hours tour, we may see the geat work of nature.According to the geological research, 450 million years ago,The red stone forest used to be the seabed rich with the element of Iron.After millions years of erosion from rain and sea water as well as crustal movement, A red Karst landform has been formed.The interesting thing is stone color changes in different weather:red in Sunny days, black in rainy days, brown and red on cloudy days. It even shows color difference during a day.

Now itโs still well-preserved in shape.However, Wangcun owns its fame by a controversial movie named โFurong Townโ, it is the one of the best movie in all time of history.Due to the content is about how the peopleโs life is impacted by political changes during some special periods of China.So the movie has been banned .but it doesnโt change its excellence at all. Wangcun is the very shooting spot of this movie, then it get a new name.

Day 5: Hotel-Tianmen Mountain-Tujia Folk Park-Junsheng Art Gallery-Happy Ending

Both are world-class scenery, so it's a must-visit highlight of this city you should not miss. What is more Unbelievable? this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records in its small body. and any of them will be overwhelmingly impressive to any type of human being. Just an amazing experience you have never had before.
