As of October 1, 2021 G Adventuresโ€™ Vaccinated Tours Policy applies:  All travelers must meet the G Adventures requirements for joining their tours.  The majority of tours require travelers to be fully vaccinated and the full/final COVID-19 vaccination must be at least 14 days before the first day of the tour.  There are some tours and departures that are only โ€˜Travel-Readyโ€™ which means all travelers must be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test within 96 hours before the first day of the tour.  Please, double check with the G Adventures Support Team about the requirements of your tour and departure date. ** Updated Vaccine Mandate Changes as of 16 December 2022 below** Travel with Confidence & Vaccinated Tours As we continue to see vaccine mandates shifting and countries evolving COVID-19 policies, we have continued to monitor and adjust our policies in line. Based on this, we will be making some adjustments to our Vaccinated Tours and Travel with Confidence policy in 2023. Tours departing on or after March 31, 2023 we will no longer be requiring all travellers to be vaccinated to travel with G Adventures. However, we still strongly recommend that all travellers are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to travelling. As per our existing policy, it is the travellers responsibility to ensure they are aware of and adhere to the regulations of the country they are visiting. Please remember to ensure that your travellers have adequate travel insurance to protect them should their travel plans change, this should include trip disruption and COVID-19 coverage. Our National Geographic Journeys, National Geographic Family Journeys and G Expedition will remain fully vaccinated for all departures . You can read more about these policies here: https://www.gadventures.com/travel-with-confidence/  Leading up to March 31, 2023 our tours will continue to be Vaccinated Tours and you can look for the Vaccinated Tours icon to indicate which departures are vaccinated and which will not require a vaccination as we move forward with this change. You can find more information on our Travel with Confidence landing page https://www.gadventures.com/travel-with-confidence/  or as well as on Sherpa.  Thank you for your continued support as we navigate these updates. ** Updated Vaccine Mandate Changes as of 16 December 2022 above**

1. It is important to note that in Europe, all guiding is based around local guides all of whom are licensed to work only in a particular city. As such, our leaders are able to provide orientation walks which will show you the layout of each town and city as well as the location of local services such as post offices and laundromats, but are unable to legally share historical facts and figures in public places. 2. In Europe it is very rare to find elevators in train stations, hotels or other public places. We use public transport on this trip, which means you will need to carry your luggage from platform to platform, in and out of trains and buses etc. and also possibly up several flights of stairs. You will also need to be able to stow your luggage safely on trains and buses. It is therefore essential that you pack light and bring luggage which is compact and lightweight, and which you can easily transport. The carrying of your luggage remains your responsibility at all times. 3. This trip has a fast-paced itinerary with some long transport days - please check the itinerary carefully before deciding if this trip suits your needs. 4. Please note that this tour combines with other G Adventures tours. As such, the staff and some travel companions on your tour may have previously been traveling together with G Adventures, prior to Day 1 of your tour. Likewise, some staff and travel companions may be continuing together on another G Adventures tour, after your trip concludes. 5. Please note that if you wish to visit popular museums such as the Vatican Museums (Sistine Chapel) and Villa Borghese in Rome, and the Uffizi or Accademia Galleries in Florence, to avoid waiting in line for a long time (especially in high season May-September when it could be a question of hours!), it is advisable to reserve tickets in advance. Tickets can be reserved online at www.weekendafirenze.com or by phone (+39) 055 294883 from Monday to Friday 8.30am-6.30pm, Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm. If you are interested in purchasing tickets we recommend that you do so once your G Adventure trip is confirmed (up to 2 months before if possible), especially for the ever-popular Uffizi, and for any time after 11am on Day 10. For additional museum resources you might want to refer to this website, www.firenzemusei.it, for more information to plan your day in Florence. 6. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES NOTE: During high season in Europe (May-October) we highly recommend booking reservations for any popular optional activities/museum tickets etc. in advance to avoid encountering sold-out activities on the ground while on tour.Rome - Borghese Gallery (25EUR per person) - Pantheon Visit - Roman Forum Visit (24EUR per person) - Colosseum Visit (24EUR per person) - Christian Catacombs (8EUR per person) - Trastevere Visit Florence - Mercato Centrale (Mercato di San Lorenzo) Visit - Piazzale Michelangelo Walk - Medici Chapels Visit (10EUR per person) - Ponte Vecchio Visit - Il Duomo di Firenze Visit (Free) - Uffizi Gallery Visit (20.75EUR per person) - National Museum of Bargello (15.75EUR per person) - Florence Food Tour Siena - Siena Visit Murano - Murano and Burano Islands Visit (20EUR per person) Venice - Campanile San Marco Lookout (8EUR per person) - Dogeโ€™s Palace (Palazzo Ducale) Visit (17EUR per person) - Gondola Ride (80EUR per group) Piazza San Marco - Saint Markโ€™s Square and Basilica Visit (Free) Ljubljana - Metelkova Mesto District (Free) - Ljubjana Castle & Funicular (10-15EUR per person) - Tivoli Park (Free) - Preseren Square (Free) Vienna - Belvedere Gallery Visit (19EUR per person) - Schรถnbrunn Palace Visit/Tour (11-15EUR per person) - Saint Stephenโ€™s Cathedral Visit (Free) - Vienna State Opera House Visit (8EUR per person) - View Lipizzaner Horses at Spanish Riding School of Vienna (14EUR per person) - Vienna Boysโ€™ Choir Visit (56-200EUR per person) Budapest - Buda Castle Visit (1500HUF per person) - Thermal Baths Visit (4200-5000HUF per person) - Budapest Bike Tour (28EUR per person) - Hungarian National Museum (1600HUF per person) - Hungarian State Opera House (2900HUF per person) - Great Market Hall Visit (Free) - Chain Bridge (Free) - Parliament Building Visit (5200HUF per person) - Budapest History Walking Tour - Budapest Morning Walking Tour Krakow - Rynek Underground Museum (19PLN per person) - Old Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz) - Wawel Royal Castle (3PLN per person) - Bar Mleczny (Milk Bar) Meal - Auschwitz Tour (155PLN per person) Wieliczka - Wieliczka Salt Mines Visit Prague - Prague Ghetto (Josefov/Jewish Quarter) Visit (10-20EUR per person) - Museum of Communism (150CZK per person) - Petล™รญn Hill Hike (Free-30CZK per person) - Letnรก Beer Garden Visit (Free-3EUR per person) - Old Town Hall and Clock Tower (110-440CZK per person) - Charles Bridge Visit (Free) - Old Town Visit - Prague Castle (Hradฤany) Visit (250-350CZK per person) - Kafka Museum (200CZK per person) - Mucha Museum (240CZK per person) - Malรก Strana Visit Berlin - East Side Gallery Visit Along Berlin Wall (Free) - Reichstag Visit - Television Tower (Fernsehturm) Visit (13-23EUR per person) - The Berlin Wall Memorial (Free) - Brandenburg Gate Visit (Free) - Checkpoint Charlie Museum Visit (17.50EUR per person) - Judisches Museum Visit (8EUR per person) - German Historical Museum (8EUR per person) - Pergamon Museum (12EUR per person) - Schloss Charlottenburg Palace (10EUR per person)
