      Day 1: Rome / Tagliacozzo / Sulmona / Pescara

      Departure from Rome at 08.30. Today you will be invited to taste the confetti, a sort of dragรฉe, main product of the city of Sulmona. Departure for the Abruzzo region with a stop in the town of Tagliacozzo, a city that is part of the club of the most beautiful villages in Italy with its medieval buildings at the bottom of the Marsica mountains. Visit. Continuation to Sulmona, the city of the poet Ovidio, the medieval gates and aqueduct, the charming fountains that adorn the old town. Lunch at your own. Visit and departure to Pescara. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Pescara / Lanciano / Ortona / Trabocchi Coast/ Pescara

      Day 2: Pescara / Lanciano / Ortona / Trabocchi Coast/ Pescara

      Breakfast. Today you will be invited to taste a local red or white wine. Visit of the largest town in the region, a modern city emerged on the ancient remains after the serious bombing of World War II. Here the great poet Gabriele Dโ€™Annunzio was born. Modern buildings alternate with palaces in the liberty style of the beginning of the 20th century and mansions that date back the Bourbon era. Next, departure for Lanciano, the city of the Eucharistic miracle that took place in the 18th century. Visit to the Church of Saint Francis, symbol of the event, the Cathedral and the medieval centre. Later, visit of Ortona, city of Roman origin, today famous for its beaches and the Aragonese fortress. Lunch at your own. Finally, tour along the Trabocchi Coast, lovely coastline marked by the spread of Trabucco, fishing machines on piles. Return to Pescara and overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Pescara / Lโ€™Aquila-Gran Sasso - Teramo

      Breakfast. Departure to Lโ€™Aquila, capital of the region, Roman and medieval city, famous for its Fountain of the 99 Spouts, the Cathedral and for being an important university centre. Lunch at your own. Following for Teramo via Gran Sasso, a national park that includes some of the highest peaks of the Apennines mountain chain. Arrival to this ancient Italic and Roman city, halfway between Apennines and coast. Around the Piazza del Municipio, an elegant and fascinating urban ensemble develops among palaces and churches of medieval times. Visit of the city and overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Teramo / Tivoli/ Villa Dโ€™Este / Rome

      Breakfast. Departure to Tivoli, town famous for its gardens, old houses and baroque villas that dominate the borough a few kilometers from Rome. Visit of the old town and entrance included to Villa dโ€™Este with English audioguide. Built in the sixteenth century, it is considered a masterpiece of the Italian Reinassence because of its gardens, fountains, statues and decorations. Lunch at your own and return to Rome. End of services.
