You will enjoy a Full-Day Tour of the city of Quito, which is the capital city of Ecuador, and sits at an elevation of 9,350 feet above sea level. Quito is located 16 miles south of the equator, and extends to zero latitude, which is known locally as la Mitad Del Mundo or, the middle of the world.

If after the sightseeing of Quito city, you would like to explore the area around the hotel by yourself, we recommend to you the malls like Quicentro Shopping or just walk around Carolina´s park.

Day 3 Travel To The Amazon

Travel To The Amazon

On this day, you will travel to the Amazon Jungle. This region includes territory belonging to Brasil, Perú, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, and French Guyana. The Amazon represents over half of the plant’s remaining rainforests.

On the way there we will stop at the most famous hotsprings complex well known as Papallacta, where you can take a natural hot bath admiring the landscape, then we will stop at the hummingbirds reserve to see some of the colorful birds from the area.

Later we will let you try a famous typical food from the jungle called CHONTA CUROS or JUNGLE PRAWNS. After lunch we will have a relaxing afternoon at the pool and viewpoint.

Day 4 Jungle Explorations

Jungle Explorations

A full day of activities in the Amazon Jungle awaits you, including some amazing sightseeing such as the Indian Village and a canoe ride on the Napo River!

It will be day of adventure walking 2 miles approx. through the hotel Primary Forest called MisiCocha ( the Cat´s Lake ).

Then in the afternoon, we will let you try the famous drink based on Yuca o Cassave and you will have the oportunity to interact with the local people.

The jungle lodge is located 160 miles away from Quito city, in Napo province. It is really a hiden paradise in the middle of the nature.

Day 5 The Waterfalls & Banos

The Waterfalls & Banos

After breakfast, our journey continue towards the Route of the Waterfalls, famous for more than 30 water jumps that run down from the Eastern Andes. It is simple to guess how many stops we will do on the way…!!

Then you will travel to the city of Baños. This city is a Roman Catholic religious center, as it has been declared that the Virgin Mary appeared here nearby a waterfall. After a brief stop in town, we will continue on to Riobamba.

Day 6 Drive To Ingapirca Runs & Hat Factory

Drive To Ingapirca Runs & Hat Factory

Morning 2 hours transportation to Ingapirca Archeological Complex, the most important pre-Columbian archaeological site in Ecuador. (1-hour walk) through the site to get to know more about the Pre-Incas & Incas history.

Then Drive to Cuenca City, upon arrival we will visit the famous HAT MUSEUM (Panama hat Factory). Finally, we will get to the hotel for overnight.

Day 7 Cuenca City Tour

Cuenca City Tour

In the morning, we will visit Cuenca City (declared a Cultural Heritage Site in 1999 by UNESCO).

The most representative sites in Cuenca are: Calderon Park (Central Square), the Modern and Old Cathedrals, the Flower Market, and Largo Street with its colonial houses, all of which are unforgettable.

We will also visit the Tomebamba River and the Broken Bridge, since they are famous landmarks. Of course an attraction impossible to skip is the Ethnographic Museum (Museo de las Culturas Aborigenes). The Ethnographic Museum is a must-see because of its unique art collection from across the country.

During this afternoon, you will experience a beautiful flight across the Andes back to Quito city.
