  • Day 1 Day 1: Pristina - Ulpiana - Gracanica Monastery (Unesco Heritage) - Prizren (Overnight)

      Day 1: Pristina - Ulpiana - Gracanica Monastery (Unesco Heritage) - Prizren (Overnight)

      We will meet at 9:00 at the Hotel in Pristina to start the adventurous journey in the newest country in Europe, Kosovo. We will start with a walking tour to get introduced to Kosovo’s capital, Pristina. Walking tour of Pristina and visits on the National Library of Kosovo, “NEWBORN” monument, and the main part of the city. 


      The Day tour of Pristina will continue with the visit to one of the main UNESCO sites in Kosovo, the Monastery of Gracanica, build as the last church of King Milutin in 1321. It is often called its last masterpiece. 


      We will also dig deeper into the history of the archeologic site of Ulpiana. Situated a few kilometers from Pristina by visit ancient remains of Ulpiana a roman town in the province of Dardania populated by the Illyrian tribe of Dardanoi. After an earthquake it was rebuilt by Emperor Justinian hence was also known as Justiniana Secunda.


      In addition, we will head toward to cultural capital of Kosovo, the city of Prizren. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Prizren - Decani Monastery - Mirusha Waterfall - Rahovec - Gjakova

      Day 2: Prizren - Decani Monastery - Mirusha Waterfall - Rahovec - Gjakova

      The day starts with the Walking tour of Prizren where everybody finds the rich local traditions, unique architecture, good food, and a warm welcome from the locals.

      Famous for its League of Prizren, also part of the Day Tour of Prizren, it can be called the most Historical City in Kosovo. Travel to Kosovo and join this Tour of Prizren to enjoy the whole magic of this beautiful city.


      In addition,  we will head to the beautiful Mirusha waterfalls for a stunning, wonderful natural landscape.


      Next is the Monastery complex of Decani considered the largest medieval church in the Balkans containing the most extensive beautifully preserved fresco decorations, deservingly becoming part of UNESCO. The monastery was constructed by Serbian king Stefan Urosh buried in the chapel and completed by his son Stefan Dushan in 1335. The catholicon has striking similarities to a roman catholic church made by its Franciscan monk architect, Fra Vita, from the Montenegrin town of Kotor heavily influenced by Venice architectural style.


      For wine enthusiasts, there is also the possibility of wine tasting and stay for overnight at Rahovec, The area is highly known for its authentic varieties of wine. 


      Overnight in Gjakova or Rural Rahovec. 

  • Day 3 Day 3: Gjakova - Peja - Rugova Valley

      Day 3: Gjakova - Peja - Rugova Valley

      The day will start in Gjakova with the visit at Grand Bazaar thought to be the oldest in Kosovo also known as Ҫarshi, full of old houses & shops, a Turkish Bathhouse or Hamam, and the 16th-century Hadum Aga Mosque. We will continue to visit another very important religious complex, the Patriarchate of Peja constructed in the XIII century. It is composed of three small churches with beautiful frescoes. For its architectural and cultural values, it represents, is part of the UNESCO-protected Medieval Monuments of Kosovo. 


      For the night we will head toward Rugova Valley. A highly preserved natural habitat surrounded by pine forests and main area of skiing in Kosovo.  Overnight in Rogova. 

  • Day 4 Day 4: Rugova - White Drini Park - Prekaz - Pristina (End Of The Tour)

      We will leave Rugova behind to head toward the white Drini Natural Park and the Radac waterfall for a pleasant Lunch stop surrounded by nature.  


      A testimony to this is the monumental complex of the Jashari family, at Prekaz, in honor of this family which in the recent 1999 conflict resisted till self-sacrifice of all members to give ethnic Albanian’s, a majority population in Kosovo the chance of self-determination.


      The last part will be returning to Pristina in the afternoon and it is also the end of the tour.
