  • Day 1 Day 1: Delhi/Aurangabad

      Day 1: Delhi/Aurangabad

      Morning transfer to airport to board flight to Aurangabad, upon arrival transfer to Hotel. Afternoon proceed for half day tour to Ellora Caves (30 km/45 mins). Ellora Caves: The finest specimen of architecture in the print world in a cave are impressive these carved stone temples and monastery are only 30km the city of Aurangabad. They contain elaborate facades and exquisitely adorned interiors. These structures represent three religions of the ancient faith: Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. In total there are 34 cave temples can be divided into three groups belonging roughly to three periods: Mahayana Buddhism (550-750 BC) 12 caves, Hinduism (600-875 AC) 17 caves and Jainism (800-1000 AC) 5 caves. (Ellora caves is closed on Tuesday). Overnight at the hotel. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Aurangabad

      Day 2: Aurangabad

      Morning proceed for full day excursion to Ajanta Caves (90 km/02 hrs). Ajanta is a complex of 30 Buddhist caves carved into the rocky canyon wall of a horseshoe-shaped. The place is really beautiful and isolated. The caves were used by Buddhist monks as a quiet retreat during the monsoon months between June and September. The oldest caves dating from around 200 A.C. and the latest and most elaborate the 650 D.C. With the decline of Buddhism in India and the end of the dynasty of kings who built them were abandoned and swallowed by the nature that remained hidden for centuries. During the 19th century English hunting group asked a kid to teach them where the tigers were hiding. The boy led the barrel and pointed to the entrance of a cave virtually invisible. Which would be astonished to discover that the tigers lived among the Buddha statues, carved columns and beautiful paintings. (Ajanta caves is closed on Monday). Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Aurangabad/Mumbai

      Day 3: Aurangabad/Mumbai

      Morning transfer to airport to board flight to Mumbai, upon arrival transfer to Hotel. Afternoon proceed for a half day sightseeing in Mumbai visiting the Gateway of India overlooking the Harbour, Prince of Wales Museum (Monday Closed), The Hanging Gardens, Marine Drive and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colorful  outdoor โ€™laundryโ€™. Also visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi etc. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Mumbai

      Day 4: Mumbai

      In the morning around 09:30 am visit to the Elephanta Caves (Closed on Mondays) Shiva is not just one of the many Hindu gods. It has the triple role of creator, guardian of life and destructor. Therefore, the impressive image of Shiva is situated in one of the caves is shown at the top of its six meters with three faces, one for each side. The caves are on the island Elephanta baptized Portuguese travelers because of some stone sculptures that surprised. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
