The following are the inclusions: - Private pick up and drop from the airport for the travelers will be included. There will be enough space for one medium size checked bag per passenger and one small cabin bag - 3 star hotel with breakfast (no other meals are included) - Day 1: Arrival - Drop to the hotel from the airport by a private cab - Day 2: The Capital of the Fjords Tour- This day you will be given the day card or pass and you can explore the city of Bergen on your own. Everything is within walking distance in Bergen. We will share the details of how you should arrange your day. - Day 3: Transfer to Oslo- This day, for all the modes of transport we will provide you with the tickets and you have to respect the fixed timings of each ticket for a hassle-free experience. There is no guide. You are expected to reach Bergen Station from where you start your journey to Myrdal, then Flam, then the ferry through the fjords and finally reach Oslo by taking another bus and train. The luggage can be picked up from Bergen and sent to Oslo directly, if you wish. This service will come at a supplementary cost and will have to be arranged between the traveller and the service provider directly. We will assist you on the same. - Day 4: Walking tour of Oslo with a guide (2-2.5 hours duration). You will be expected to tip the guide, approximately 5-10 EUR per person is standard - Day 4: National gallery - Entry tickets are included but you will have to reach the meeting point on your own. - Day 5: Airport Transfer- At the end of the trip you will be transferred to the airport by a private cab.

In such cases, admission tickets shall be included if mentioned in the itinerary. Rest assured priority assistance and guidance will be available over phone and WhatsApp throughout the trip.

We would like to clarify that this is NOT a group/ coach tour. The plan will be only for independent travel for your party. Although you may be joining groups for certain sightseeing activities (if mentioned in the itinerary) and for your walking tour, overall this is not a coach tour (in which everything is managed from airport to airport). Please note that for all sightseeings, the activity starts from a meeting point. You are expected to reach the meeting point on your own. We hope that is okay with you. Also the transfers from train station to hotel and vice versa are not included. For this purpose you can easily haul a cab. This way the need to manage bags on your own will be limited. Despite being an international city, Bergen, “The Capital of the Fjords”, has all the charms of a small town. Here you’ll find Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage site, along with remarkably preserved old houses, a lively fish and flower market, cable cars offering stunning views, great museums and more. We recommend riding the Fløibanen Funicular to Mount Fløyen to enjoy the panoramic view of the city or a cable car up Mt. Ulriken. Bergen is also known for its museums dedicated to history within trade and fisheries, architecture, musical art and contemporary art.

Day 3 Norway In A Nutshell To Oslo

Norway In A Nutshell To Oslo

Get an early start and head to Bergen Station, where you’ll begin the Norway in a Nutshell®. Take the train to Voss and then from there take the bus to Gudvangen. The buss will take you on a thrilling ride around 13 hairpin bends up the Stalheimskleiva, Northern Europe’s steepest stretch of road.. From Gudvangen you’ll board a boat to sail through Aurlandsfjord into the World Heritage-listed Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in all of Europe. This is perhaps the most beautiful arm of Sognefjord, with its mighty waterfalls and small farms clinging to the steep mountainsides. The boat docks in Flam. In Flam you will have couple of hours to explore on your own. Afterwards take the train to Oslo on the famous Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana) for an incredible ride to the beautiful village of Flåm. In Myrdal, you’ll switch trains to Oslo. This train ride takes you over Norway’s “mountainous rooftops”, through charming villages like Gol and Geilo, finally reaching your destination in Oslo.

Day 4 Oslo Walking Tour And National Museum

Oslo Walking Tour And National Museum

Today along with an expert local guide go on a walking tour of Oslo through the most iconic sites like The Royal Palace, which is the official residence of the Norwegian Royal Family. From here walk the buzzing street of Karl Johans gate, the main thoroughfare in central Oslo with cafes and shopping opportunities. From here one can reach the Akerhus fortress, which is the medieval fortress built to guard the city and the castle inside it as a residence for the Norwegian kings. Not far from here, the Oslo City Hall, inaugurated in 1950, is an impressive building where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded every year, and is decorated with great Norwegian art from the early 1900s.

Later visit the National Gallery that houses important works of Norwegian and European art upto the mid 1900s. From here walk along the Akerselva river and reach the hip neighbourhood of Grunerlokka. Here you can visit the Mathalen food hall - which is an indoor food market with more than 30 speciality shops, cafes and eateries. Tickets to National Gallery is included but you will have to reach the meeting point on your own to start this exciting day of exploration.
