      Day 2: Nice - Monaco - Eze โ€“ Menton โ€ฆ 180 Kms

We get into the swing of things with a gentle group outing along the Promenade des Anglais and the famous baie des Anges, we then head up to the Haute Corniche with a breathtaking view over the city and sweep down onto the basse corniche alongside the sea.

Then itโ€™s off to Monaco, the city of millionaires, oversized yachts and luxury cars with wealth oozing out of every nook and cranny. We ride the must-do Formula one Grand Prix route and perk ourselves up with an iced chocolate drink on the port.

We then hit the road again and climb up to Eze for lunch contemplating the panoramic vista... with the shimmering sea below.

Slowly but surely we make our way to Beaulieu in the afternoon via the Haute Corniche and head back down to Menton to enjoy a beautiful Southen French evening...

      Day 3: Menton - Saint-Paul-De-Vence โ€“ Cannes (200 Km Env)

Starting from Menton, we set off for Saint-Paul-de-Vence, via La Turbie, a medieval village dominated by the trophรฉe dโ€™Auguste (Victory Monument of the Alps) boasting a pretty sea view, la Trinitรฉ and the typical picture postcard Southern French village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, brimming with charm, fountains and characteristic flat roof tiles...

      โ€‹

Itโ€™s then on to Biot, famous for its glass blowers and one of the most beautiful villages of the French Riviera.

Lunch indulging in an excellent bouillabaisse before going to Antibes and arriving at another iconic city, Cannes where we will inevitably walk in the foot steps of the stars... followed by a well-deserved dinner in a very comfortable 3-star hotel.

    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 4: Cannes - Grasse - Ramatuelle - Pampelonne.(200 Km)

We leave the glitz and glamour of Cannes and head for the world-renowned city of scents and perfumers, Grasse. Making a few stops at some of the famous names of the perfume world, we have lunch at Mougins, the picturesque, perched village a few bends along the road from Grasse where Picasso decided to spend the latter part of his life.

      โ€‹

The afternoon takes us along the coastal mountain range of Esterel which is where Victor Hugo said "The Alps can die here with dignity", brushing with Saint-Raphaรซl, before drifting down to Sainte-Maxime and taking in the Marcel Pagnol-like setting of Ramatuelle.

We slope down to the iconic beach of Pampelonne, nestling in vineyards up to Saint-Tropez, in store for the next day.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Saint-Tropez - Hyรจres - Porquerolles Island
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 5: Saint-Tropez - Hyรจres - Porquerolles Island

Saint-Tropez plays host to us in the morning where even after a hearty breakfast, no one will be able to resist a tarte tropรฉzienne, best enjoyed opposite Sรฉnรฉquierโ€™s...

We then provokedly rev up in front of the splendid yachts moored in the little port and perhaps toy with the idea of a game of pรฉtanque on the Place des Lices or in the shade of the century-old plane trees, just like stars from across the world.

Lunch at Bornes-les-Mimosas, another symbolic village of the Riviera decked in flowers. Alongside le Lavandou, we rub shoulders with the Fort de Brรฉganรงon, the official summer residence of the French President and then discover Hyรจres and the Presquโ€™รฎle de Gien, followed by the magnificent island of Porquerolles โ€ฆ  Just awesome!

  • Day 6 Day 6: Porquerolles - Le Castellet - Calanque Cassis - Aix-En-Provence (290 Km)

      Day 6: Porquerolles - Le Castellet - Calanque Cassis - Aix-En-Provence (290 Km)

We get off to an early start to make the most of the cool temperature and embark upon another passion-filled day with a first stop along the Paul Ricard racing circuit in Le Castellet - a legend of itโ€™s own. The ascent to the circuit is also a one-off experience not only for the route and the surroundings but also the riders you cross along the way...

Lunch will be all the more appreciated after such an acheivement!

And the afternoon has lots of great highlights in store too. we head up to Aix-en-Provence where its mossy fountain is bound to stir your curiosity along with the unique atmosphere of the main square. Wonder along the sweet little streets and soak up all the Aix charm!

  • Day 7 Day 7: Aix-En-Provence - Gorges Du Verdon - Castellane... (200 Km) โ€“
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 7: Aix-En-Provence - Gorges Du Verdon - Castellane... (200 Km) โ€“

We leave Aix with a heavy heart and make our way to the truly Provence-style then up to the plateau de Valensole, famous for its impressive lavender fields, in full blossom, giving off an unbelievable scent in a sea of magnificent colour ...

We arrive at the Gorges du Verdon. Prepare yourself to be visually blown away by the sheer beauty of the views. Steep, rocky cliffs plunge into a green lagoon... Following this road through the Gorges is a stand-out moment in a bikerโ€™s life.

We make a short pit stop in Grรฉoux les bains ...the small town well-known for its spa and tiny Casino and then itโ€™s straight on to Castellane via the Lac de Sainte Croix ...

Itโ€™s sad to see this day coming to an end.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Castellane - Route Napolรฉon - Nice & Au Revoir...
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 8: Castellane - Route Napolรฉon - Nice & Au Revoir...

A laid-back exit from Castellane to join the famous, historical route de Napolรฉon ... named after the emperor who opened it.

โ€‹It takes us gently back to Grasse, then Nice bringing us full circuit. We pan out the last few kilometers of this journey for as long as possible.

A last lunch and wander along the sea front before handing back the bikes for those not on a self-ride.

What a great trip, you can now be proud to say that youโ€™ve done the French Riviera on a motor bike!
