Flights

International flights to & from Sri Lanka, Thailand & Vietnam are not included in the tour price. Remember you will need to book a flight no earlier then 14:00 on Day 12 from Negombo - Bangkok & a flight anytime on Day 26 from Chiang Mai - Hanoi. If you are unsure then drop us a message and we can help. Weโ€™ll be at the airport to meet you when you land and we offer return airport transfers if you want to go down the hassle free approach. This can all be selected during the booking process.

  • Day 1 Day 1: Negombo

      Day 1: Negombo

      Weโ€™ll pick you up from the airport, get you checked in and introduce you to your new travel family. Why not take a wander down to the beach or squeeze in a cheeky nap before we head out for dinner and drinks on our first evening together. The following morning, there is no better way to start exploring the diversity of Sri Lankaโ€™s culture than jumping into Tuk Tuks for a local tour around Negombo!

  • Day 2 Day 2-3: Dambulla

      Day 2-3: Dambulla

      Time to hit the road and make our way to Dambulla. Here weโ€™ll explore the ancient golden cave temple and take in the most incredible 360 degree views of the iconic Lions Rock, Sigiriya. Let us show you the real Sri Lanka as we cruise further into the countryside for an authentic village experience. Weโ€™ll introduce you to our local friends and finish the day with a secret evening experience that we donโ€™t plan to share with anyone other than you guys. 

  • Day 3 Day 4: Kandy

      Day 4: Kandy

      Wake up, and say goodbye to our beautiful Dambulla mango orchard retreat and letโ€™s head to Kandy. We stop for lunch in one of our favourite spots before enjoying some free time to explore Sri Lankaโ€™s second largest city. Weโ€™ll finish the day visiting the sacred Temple of the Tooth for the evening ceremony before heading out for dinner & drinks!

  • Day 4 Day 5-6: Ella

      Day 5-6: Ella

      Ready for an adventure in the breathtaking mountains of Sri Lanka? Weโ€™ll be learning how to pick and make our very own tea before catching the famous blue train to the spectacular hill town of Ella, sharing the experience with fellow travellers and locals. Enjoy free time during the day and letโ€™s grab a beer or two in the evening, but maybe not too manyโ€ฆwe have a couple of epic walks up our sleeves with views that never fail to impress, including the incredible Little Adamโ€™s Peak!

  • Day 5 Day 7: Udawalawe National Park

      Day 7: Udawalawe National Park

      At the top of everyoneโ€™s bucket list is observing some of this planetโ€™s most incredible animals. So how does a safari through the jungle searching for hundreds of free roaming elephants sound? After spending the night in our beautiful glamping style bungalows in the heart of Udawalawe National Park, weโ€™ll hop into open top jeeps and go on the lookout not only for elephants, but crocodiles, monkeys, water buffaloes and many more animals wandering wild in the National Park. 

  • Day 6 Day 8-9: Hiriketiya, Mirissa & Weligama

      Youโ€™ve experienced the culture, youโ€™ve explored the mountains and now itโ€™s time for you to kick back and embrace the chilled out beach vibes of the south. Spend your morning sipping coffee and soaking up the sun on Mirissa beach before we take a short trip along the coast to Weligama for our surf lesson. Whether itโ€™s your first time or not, our super cool local friends will have you riding on the waves in no time!

  • Day 7 Day 10-11: Unawatuna & Galle

      Day 10-11: Unawatuna & Galle

      From one beautiful beach town to another, itโ€™s time to head further down the coast and explore the local area of Unawatuna. Weโ€™ll go snorkelling in the shallow waters with giant sea turtles and swing from palm trees for that perfect Instagram shot. Leave before introducing you to Galle? No chance! Letโ€™s wander the quirky streets of this Dutch Fortress, pick up those last minute souvenirs and get involved with the locals playing cricket. Itโ€™s the perfect place to enjoy our final sunset together and end an epic trip with dinner and drinks! 

  • Day 8 Day 12-14: Bangkok

      Day 12-14: Bangkok

      Our time in Sri Lanka has come to an end.. lets head to country number 2, Thailand!* Weโ€™ll get stuck into temples, tuk tukโ€™s and local floating markets in the heart of the city. If youโ€™re a foodie then youโ€™ll fall in love with the streets of Bangkok as we take you to all our favourite spots. By night we hit the infamous Khao San Road for crazy nightlife!

  • Day 9 Day 15: Khao Sok National Park

      You canโ€™t travel Thailand without visiting this hidden little gem! Khao Sok is our favourite spot in Asia by far. We arrive by traditional longtail boat, stay overnight in floating raft houses and take a moment with a tube & a beer to reflect on how insane this place is! For sunset we grab a kayak in search of monkeysโ€ฆ โ€˜Shhhโ€ฆthey can hear youโ€™

  • Day 10 Day 16-17: Krabi & Railay

      Day 16-17: Krabi & Railay

      We say goodbye to the jungle and hello to the white beaches and crystal clear waters of south Thailand. Weโ€™ll have time to chill by the pool before climbing to the famous Tiger Cave Temple. By night we hit the streets of Ao Nang in search of live music and ladyboy shows. What better way to dust off your hangover than with some beach time...hello Railay Beach!

  • Day 11 Day 18-20: Phi Phi Islands

      Day 18-20: Phi Phi Islands

      This is the part of the trip that most of you have been waiting for...Island Hopping in Koh Phi Phi! Well guess what, this place doesnโ€™t disappoint...sunsets, snorkeling, beautiful beaches, bucket bars and fire shows. Your time on Phi Phi will be one you wonโ€™t forget!

  • Day 12 Day 21-22: Chiang Mai

      Day 21-22: Chiang Mai

      Itโ€™s not everyday you get the opportunity to tick off a bucket list experience...did someone mention kisses and cuddles with cute little elephants?! An experience very close to our hearts, these sacred incredible animals will have tears running down your cheeks. We learn about the history & cultural significance of these amazing animals before taking a dip in the waterfall. Often the gentle giants join us for a swim to cool down!

  • Day 13 Day 23-24: Pai

      Day 23-24: Pai

      A quiet little spot in the mountains, Pai is a travellers favourite for good reason! This town is full of local hippies and chilled vibes. Our time here is pretty awesome with Muay Thai, sunset river tubing, natural hot springs and of course the insta-worthy bamboo bridge. By evening we head out to the local farmers market and try some of Thailandโ€™s best street food.

  • Day 14 Day 25: Chiang Mai

      Day 25: Chiang Mai

      Weโ€™ll say goodbye to Pai and hello again to Chiang Mai. After some chill time, weโ€™ll learn the secrets to preparing local Thai cuisine firsthand with an authentic Thai Cooking Class. Our local friend wonโ€™t just have you filling your faces with delicious food but heโ€™ll be filling your hearts with the best vibes. 

  • Day 15 Day 26-27: Hanoi

      Day 26-27: Hanoi

      Today we say a sad goodbye to Thailand and hello to the amazing Vietnam for the next part of our big Asian adventure*. There is no better way to get settled in then a walking tour through the narrow streets and tasting some of the local flavours. Once weโ€™ve stuffed our faces itโ€™s time to jump on our 3 wheeled rickshaws to explore the rest. By night we head to โ€˜Beer Streetโ€™, grab a stool and see where this crazy city takes us!

  • Day 16 Day 28: Halong Bay

      Day 28: Halong Bay

      Today we jump aboard a traditional Junk Boat and cruise through 1 of the 7 natural wonders of the world - Ha Long Bay. Once all settled in, we enjoy lunch with the most incredible views...just epic! This afternoon we adventure through caves on kayaks and cool off with a swim before sipping cocktails for sunset  ???? 

  • Day 17 Day 29-30: Ninh Binh

      Day 29-30: Ninh Binh

      We wake up onboard before adventuring further off the beaten track to Ninh Binh - home of the recent King Kong movie โ€˜Skull Islandโ€™. Allow us to introduce you to our local friends at our family homestay...it doesnโ€™t get much more local than this! Day 5 is an adventure cycling through the untouched countryside, cruising on traditional paddle boats & 360 views of the Ninh Binh Valley from the Dragon Mountain.

  • Day 18 Day 31: Hue

      Day 31: Hue

      We spend our short time in Hue visiting the poorer more rural communities, our vietnamese guide educates us on local life and gives us an insight into the work that we are doing at Feel Free Travel to support children in these areas and their education. Hue is the cultural centre of Vietnam and the gateway to the most iconic road in Vietnam - the Hai Van Pass. We cruise the pass taking in the mountain views and stopping at some of our favorite spots to cool off.

  • Day 19 Day 32-34: Hoi An

      Day 32-34: Hoi An

      Our time in Hoi An will be filled with a cooking class on the river, spinning around in bamboo basket boats, making your own lantern, enjoying some chill time on the beach or even visiting a local tailor to get some super cheap clothes made! The lantern city will steal your hearts with jaw dropping beauty and artsy vibes.

  • Day 20 Day 35: Nha Trang

      Day 35: Nha Trang

      After a short flight to Nha Trang, weโ€™ll arrive at our accommodation and head out for a truly unique experience. The mineral mud baths in Nha Trang really do sound crazy... but once youโ€™re in you wonโ€™t want to get out! As much as it is great for your skin itโ€™s great fun too! 

  • Day 21 Day 36-37: Mui Ne

      Day 36-37: Mui Ne

      Welcome to the beautiful beach town of Mui Ne, famous for its fishing villages and Sahara-like dunes. After exploring the town and sipping cocktails by the pool weโ€™ll make our way to Vietnamโ€™s very own Grand Canyon - โ€˜The Fairy Streamsโ€™. For some people this is the moment you have been waiting for...sandboarding and quad biking* on the epic sand dunes of Mui Ne...there is no better sunset than this one!

  • Day 22 Day 38-40: Ho Chi Minh City

      Day 38-40: Ho Chi Minh City

      Youโ€™ve never seen so many motorbikes in your life! Letโ€™s explore the city by foot and feast in the local flavours of the south before heading to the deeply moving National War Museum. Take a peek at the underground life of the infamous Viet Cong soldiers at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Learn how these warriors lived beneath the soil using tunnel networks...you can even explore the underground tunnel systems yourself. Get ready for our last night out together experiencing some of South East Asiaโ€™s best nightlife!
