Tanzania has now reopened to international flights and has lifted its and there is no 14-day quarantine period for arrivals in the country. Upon arriving in the country, visitors will be required to have their temperature taken, and there will be a range of specific health and safety measures taken on transport and at the accommodation to protect against the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Many safaris camps and lodges are open. Air Tanzania, Ethiopian Airlines, and Turkish Airlines are resuming flights this month. KLM, Emirates, Kenya Airways, Qatar Airways, and Swiss Air Lines restart flights to Tanzania.

      Arrival in Tanzania โ€“ Picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your Lodge in in West Kilimanjaro Maasai village  where you will witness cultural maasai singing, walking with traditional maasai herbs, dancing on sunset of Maasai hills,spear throwing competition and Maasai story telling durring camp fire in the evering.

      After breakfast at Olsigilai Maasai Lodge we will walk and visit a maasai boma, witness their traditional cultureโ€™s house and their lifestyle and then drive to Chemka hotspring where you will have time to do two things at a time, after breakfast at Chemka Hot Springs. Relax and Refresh Chemka Hot Springs, turquoise waters of the Chemka Hot Springs, an oasis of geothermal warmth that bubbles up from underground. Surrounded by lush forest alive with birdsong and the call of monkeys, the Chemka Hot Springs is an ideal place to ease those tired legs after a strenuous ascent up Kilimanjaro. Theyโ€™re a little bit of heaven thatโ€™s perfect for a daytrip, and those warm blue waters invite you to linger, swim or explore. Return refreshed, revitalised and relaxed. After lunch we will have a culture walk to Kikuletwa waterfall, one of the secret waterfalls hidden in Kilimanjaro, relax and refresh and then drive back to Moshi for dinner and overnight at Kilicottages Lodge.

      One hourโ€™s drive from Moshi lies the gate to the Machame route, where we complete park formalities, meet our crew of porters and start to climb! The first section of the route climbs steadily and passes through magnificent, dense rainforest. This path is less well-trodden so it can get somewhat overgrown in places and it is often wet and muddy underfoot.

      Walking now on high moorland, the landscape changes the entire character of the trek. We traverse the southwest side of Kilimanjaro, passing underneath the Lava Tower and the final section of the Western Breach and finally reach camp The day has been spent at altitude (up to 4600m), but we have followed the mountaineering code of โ€˜walk high, sleep lowโ€™ to aid your bodyโ€™s acclimatization to altitude.

      Our day starts by descending into the Great Barranco, a huge ravine. We then exit steeply, up the Great Barranco Wall, which divides us from the southeastern slopes of Kibo. Itโ€™s a climb over rock, not technical, but long and tiring. Passing underneath the Heim and Kersten glaciers, we head towards the Karanga valley, which is our last stop for fresh water before the summit. Scree now forms the terrain as we walk through arid and desolate land towards Barafu camp.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Barafu Camp (4640M) To Uhuru Peak (5895M) & Down To Millennium Camp (3790M)

      We start off at around midnight, and walk steeply upwards to the summit glaciers. We will be climbing scree for 4 to 5 hours but gain incredible height over a short distance. The views are spectacular. We should be on the crater rim at Stella Point (5739m) as the first rays of the sun hit us. Spectacular ice cliffs within the crater surround us and the views to jagged Mawenzi peak and beyond are breathtaking. Another hourโ€™s walking takes us to the summit, Uhuru Peak (5895m). We begin our descent by returning to Stella Point and then descending on scree slope and track back to Barafu Camp for breakfast, before finally heading down to Millennium Camp for a long well-earned rest.

      A gentle trek takes us down through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where we complete park formalities and receive certificates, which you can hang up with pride! We are then met by our vehicles and return to the hotel in Moshi, where you can treat yourself to a welcome shower (and a cold beer or two!) before our big celebration. Overnight at the Kili Cottages Lodge  (or alternative)

      After breakfast with your lunch box, Game drive at hadzabe for hunting and study there tribe .In the afternoon  after lunch somewhere in the bush drive to Datago tribe .The Datoga people live in the vicinity of Lake Eyasi in northern Tanzania in the Rift Valley. They are skilled farmers and craftsman. then in the late afternoon drive back to Moshi/Arusha


      Note:(Hunting with the Hadzabe Visitors to Tanzania have the opportunity to witness a hunting demonstration by these proud people, with early morning hunting excursions a fantastic opportunity to see just how these people have survived in the wilderness while other tribes have given in to pressure from the modernizing world.)
