      After breakfast, drive along the Trishuli River to Gatlang. The road from Syabrubesi takes you into Langtang National Park, where you immediately notice the remote, high-altitude settlements. Follow the trail to a viewpoint at Dhunche for stunning views of Ganesh Himal, Goljang Valley, and the Gosaikunda range. At Gatlang, meet the friendly locals, who are mostly from the Tamang community, and spend the night.

      Prepare for a relatively difficult trek by having a filling breakfast in the morning. The trail follows the Bhotekoshi River, passing through several villages before ascending to Nagthali, a once-popular meditation hub for monks and priests. Nagthali is an area covered in open grasslands with panoramic views of snow-capped mountains such as Langtang Lirung, Kerung, and Ganesh Himal.

      We begin the day with a descending walk of about an hour to reach Thuman. One of the Tamang villages where Tibetan culture has had a significant influence is Thuman. The people here are friendly and enjoy singing and dancing. Later, we walk through rhododendron forests and meadows to Briddhim, another Tibetan-influenced Tamang community in the lap of Langtang Himal. The trail to Briddhim is beautiful in the spring, when the entire rhododendron forest blooms. In Briddhim, you can enjoy traditional local cuisine and participate in cultural activities.

      Todayโ€™s trek includes a challenging ascent of approximately 1000 meters. We start by navigating a steep forest slope leading up to the Langtang River. Our journey continues as we reach Ghoda Tabela, so-called the Horse Stable. Along the way, weโ€™re treated to the picturesque sight of Yaks eating in the valley, adding to the scenic charm of our trek. As we ascend further, we cross a stream and pass by numerous water-driven prayer wheels. Eventually, we arrive at Langtang, one of the oldest villages along this trail, where the breathtaking view of towering mountain peaks awaits us.

  • Day 6 Langtang To Kyanjin Gompa (3/4-Hour Hike)

      Langtang To Kyanjin Gompa (3/4-Hour Hike)

      After breakfast, head for Kyanjin Gompa. Along the way, youโ€™ll cross several yak pastures, wooden bridges, and villages.  Along the path to Kyanjin Gompa, you can see the wonderful view of Langtang Lirung. The trail passes through the largest Mani wall, made from stone and with prayers written on them, the water mills, chortens, a sacred pile of rocks with various inscriptions carved on them, and many more. After crossing a few rivers, we reach Kyanjin Gompa. Kyajing Gompa is surrounded by the Himalayas in every direction.  Here, you can test the cheese and curd made from Yak milk.

      Relax for the day by exploring the surrounding areas of Kyanjin Gompa.

      Today you will explore in and around Kyanjin Gompa. You can also go for a hike to Tserko RI (5000m) for magnificent mountain views. As Tserko RI lies at quite a high altitude, you might feel the thin air, but it is not the place where you will spend your night. After getting some wonderful views of the mountains and the surroundings, we returned to Kyanjin Gompa. In the remaining time, you can stroll around Kyanjing Gompa and enjoy the surrounding views along with various flora and fauna.

      Today, we are going to follow the familiar path from Kyanjin Gompa to Ghoda Tabela, retracing our steps with ease. After approximately five hours of hiking, we will return to the Lama Hotel. Youโ€™ll be able to rest and rejuvenate while admiring the breathtaking views that surround us.

As we wander along the path, we will follow the riverโ€™s course until we arrive in Syabrubesi.

      Syabrubesi To Kathmandu (7/8-Hour Drive)

      Today, youโ€™ll drive back to Kathmandu. Youโ€™ll see a lot of mountainous villages and settlements along the way. The road leading up to Dhanding Besi is a little bumpy, but once there, it is relatively smooth. During the drive, you can admire the scenery of hills, farms, small towns, and rivers. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.
