Bariloche town sits on the southern coast of Nahuel Huapi, a glacier-water lake with enthralling islands and beaches. Hills and mountains framing the area allow visitors to enjoy all sorts of hiking trails, as well as some of the most amazing views of the natural wonders of Patagonia. Today, you will have the rest of the day free to do as you wish.

Day 2: Bariloche/ Kayaking in Mascardi Lake and hiking in the forest

ยกToday is the day! After breakfast, you will depart from your hotel towards Mascardi Lake, located at the south of San Carlos de Bariloche to enjoy 4-day tour on private service.
After an introduction in basic techniques and safety procedures on coastal kayaking, your adventure through the lake begins; you will see very beautiful landscapes on the way! After kayaking, in order to recover for the physical effort, we will enjoy lunch and relax in one of the many lake beaches. **Kayaking time: 4-5hs. Distance to cover: 17km/10,5ml.

In the afternoon, we will arrive at Camping โLos Rรกpidosโ to enjoy โmate teaโ, the traditional tea time argentinian drink. Then, take time to relax and explore the surrounding forest and the hidden lake โLos Moscosโ. At the end of this memorable day, you will have dinner and spend the night at Camping โLos Rรกpidosโ.

Day 3: Kayaking with views of Bonete and Tronador mountains
Stop At: Mascardi Lake, Rรญo Negro, Argentina
After breakfast, we will prepare our kayaks for a second paddling day. But this time is different and even better; we will kayak along the most remote part of Mascardi Lake with amazing views of Bonete and Tronador mountains! Later, for lunchtime, we will stop in an isolated beach before continuing to the head of the lake. **Kayaking time: 4hs. Distance to cover: 16km/10ml.

After kayaking, you will be transferred to Pampa Linda, located at the base of Tronador Mount. At the end of the day, you will have dinner and spend the night at Hosterรญa Pampa Linda.

Day 4: Trekking to โOtto Meilingโ refuge + picnic with Castaรฑo Overa Glacier views
Stop At: Hosteria Pampa Linda, San Carlos de Bariloche, Rรญo Negro, Argentina
After breakfast, we will begin our trek through a forest of giant beech trees towards the Meiling Mountain Hut (2.000m/6.560ft). And just in time to recover from the hiking, we will be delighted by a picnic lunch along the way with an amazing view to the Castaรฑo Overa Glacier surrounded with a stunning volcanic landscape.
**Trekking time: 5hs. Distance: 15km. Altitude gain: 900m/2.950 ft. Terrain: You may walk through trails with rocks and also snow.

Stop At: Refugio Otto Meiling, Calle Copahue 4040, San Carlos de Bariloche R8402BAR Argentina
In the afternoon, you will arrive to โOtto Meilingโ refuge and have some time at leisure to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Andes Mountain Range. At night, you will be pleased by a candle light dinner and spend the night at โOtto Meilingโ refuge.

Day 5: Watching of Andean Condor flight + Trekking/ Bariloche City

After breakfast, we will have the chance to approach the cliff beside the glaciers to enjoy the breathtaking flight of the Andean Condor, an incredible patagonian bird of prey. Then, you will enjoy lunch at the refuge before starting the hiking back to Pampa Linda. **Trekking time: 5hs. Distance: 15km. Altitude gain: -900m. Terrain: You may walk through trails with rocks and also snow.
