Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt.
Among the most important monuments in the open museum of Meet Raheena - ruins left from ancient Memphis - are the statue of Ramses II at the entrance and the huge statue of Ramses II which lies on the ground. There is also a statue of Alabaster in the image of the Sphinx and some other monuments.

Day 4: Luxor Sightseeing & Embark your Dahabiya from Esna

At first glance, the Valley of the Kings, also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, seems like no more than a sun-blasted gorge of generic red rock, but underneath all of its dust lay the tombs of 63 of the most important pharaohs in the history of Ancient Egypt. Used as a burial chamber for nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, Discovered by Howards Carter in an excavation expedition in 1922, one of the most important tombs found in the Valley of the Kings is the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun and all of his treasures.The Valley of the Kings is located on the west bank of the Nile River near Luxor. It is the most famous site for having unique collections of tombs and breathtaking ancient ruins.

Sail to el Kab village, then you will el Kab temple built by Tuthmose III to the west of the nobleโs tombs, and Old Kingdom mastaba tombs of Kiamen and Nefershemem of Dynasty IV.temple is the most distant monument from the main surrounding wall of Elkab, since it is at a distance of about 3.4km.
It represents in fact a respository chapel for the barque which served at the time of the processions of the goddess Nekhbet. It was co dedicated to Nekhbet and Hathor.

It is widely considered to be the most impressive of all of the Nile-side temples . It was built during the Greco-Roman Period, but the builders painstakingly preserved the form of Egyptโs true pharaohs.The temple is very complete, including a pylon that was built by Cleopatraโs father in the first century BC, which leads into a peristyle court and then a hypostyle hall that precedes the sanctuary of Horus, the ultimate and most important part of the temple.. The Temple of Horus at Edfu is by far the most complete example of this architectural style.

Day 6: Gebel El-Silsila

Is the name given to a rocky gorge between Kom Ombo and Edfu where the River Nile narrows and high sandstone cliffs come right down to the waterโs edge. It is hardly surprising that by Dynasty XVIII, travellers had developed the custom of carving small shrines into the cliffs here, dedicating them to a variety of Nile gods and to the river itself.

The temple is perched atop a picturesque bluff alongside the river and while there are no longer any crocodiles in the river or in the sacred lake inside the temple complex
