Itinerary of your trip One For The Road

  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrive In Dublin
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Arrive In Dublin

Your first destination is none other than the Fair City.  Obviously, Dublin is a must on this Ireland package.  Unlike other cities in Ireland, Dublin is always buzzing.  No matter what day or time of the week.  Hundreds of great bars in this city means youโ€™re guaranteed to find a bit of craic*.  As soon as you arrive, you will notice that thereโ€™s not a shortage of things to do here.  Explore Dublin by foot on your first day, finding the statue of Molly Malone, walking by Trinity College, walk up Grafton Street and stroll around Brown Thomas.  Your city guide on our app can help you with a self-guided tour.

*Craic is a term for news, gossip, fun, entertainment, and enjoyable conversation, particularly prominent in Ireland!

  • Day 2 Day 2: Dublin
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Dublin

Another day in the fair city. Today is a day for exploring all the great museums and history of Dublin.  A great way to spend your day is by buying a ticket for the Hop on Hop off City Sightseeing Bus (discounted tickets can be purchased through your app), as this will take you to all the best tourist spots.  Dublin is a very expensive city, this by far is the cheapest way of travelling to tourist spots.  Make your first stop at the Guinness Store House, where you will find out how Guinness is made and the history surrounding Arthur Guinness.  You will get a free pint with your ticket that you can sip over at their skyline bar.  Other stops will include Phoenix Park, Dublin Zoo and the Jameson Whiskey Distillery.  After a busy day of sightseeing, why not head into Temple Bar?  It can be expensive so watch out for some locals who can advise you of where the best places are to go.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Dublin
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Dublin

Itโ€™s your final day in Dublin.  Start your day off with a traditional Irish breakfast.  No trip here would be complete without trying to get tickets for the in demand Kilmainham Gaol tour.  The gaol closed in 1924 and is one of the biggest unoccupied gaols in Europe!  You would have passed it yesterday on the sightseeing bus, but it can be very busy.  When that is over, head back into town, where you can take a walk around St Stephenโ€™s Green or walk across the Haโ€™Penny bridge.  Make the most of your last day here, check your app city guide and discounted sight seeing tickets for some final things to check off the list.

  • Day 4 Train From Dublin To Cork & Explore Cork - Stay Overnight Cork
