      The closest airport to Chiapa de Corzo is the Angel Albino Corzo International Airport (TGZ) in Tuxtla Gutierrez, approximately 20 minutes away. We recommend you arrive at least 01 day before (see the section on extras). On arrival, transfer to the hotel on your own (arrival transfer: airport - hotel, not included). We recommend arriving at a time from 15:00 hrs, since check-in at the hotel will only be possible after this time. In the evening, at approximately 8:00 pm, you will have a welcome meeting with the rest of the group and your tour guide, followed by an optional dinner (not included).

      This day get ready to leave for Tehuacรกn-Cuicatlรกn, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve located in a complex system of mountain chains and valleys that generate great biodiversity and different ecosystems. The region has played an important role in the development of agriculture in Mesoamerica. Visit an indescribable cactus forest with other very ancient xerophytes, see fossil outcrops and dinosaur footprints, etc. In the afternoon, transfer to Puebla. Once a bastion of conservatism, Catholicism and tradition, the city has emerged from its colonial-era shell. Puebla retains a fantastically well-preserved center that is on the UNESCO list, an impressive cathedral and a large number of beautiful churches.       In the morning, you head to Cholula, the oldest uninterrupted inhabited city in the Americas, from its origins that rise next to the Popocatepetl volcano. Visit the old Franciscan convent of San Gabriel, one of the oldest in America and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies, built in the sixteenth century by the Spanish, made of domes covered with tiles. It was placed right over the Great Pyramid; the foundation seems to be a hill instead of an archaeological site. Then, the adventure continues to Teotihuacan - a fabulous archaeological site listed by UNESCO, it was the largest ancient city in Mexico and the capital of what was probably the largest pre-Hispanic empire in the country.
