      We will meet at 3:00 pm at a location to be agreed upon in Coyhaique to head south to Rio Tranquilo, where we will have our first glimpse of these awe-inspiring landscapes at the end of the world. We will set up camp at our first camping site of the journey. 

      Tonight, we will have our first group dinner!

  • Day 2 Marble Cathedrals Tour

      Marble Cathedrals Tour

      After breakfast, we will take a boat navigation tour to the famous Marble Cathedrals, located in General Carrera Lake. These are rock formations shaped like caves and islets. In this place, we can appreciate how time has passed over millions of years and how water has shaped the landscape in this incredible way. 

      There is also the exciting option of taking a kayak ride for an additional $40,000 to be paid on-site. 

      Then, we have the afternoon free to enjoy and explore.

      After breakfast, we head towards Cochrane, but along the way, we will make some exciting stops:

      Patagonia Park is a vast natural paradise that captivates with its pristine landscapes, imposing glaciers, and rich biodiversity. This park is part of Douglas Tompkinsโ€™ legacy. It was created thanks to the vision and effort of Douglas Tompkins and his wife, Kristine McDivitt Tompkins, as part of their commitment to nature conservation in the Chilean Patagonia region.

      This day after breakfast we will drive to our next destination, Coleta TorteI.

      In this place, we will set up our first camp, and then we will have some free time to walk around the place, where we will be able to walk along its beautiful native wooden footbridges and understand how humans adapt to the

  • Day 5 Caleta Tortel - Glacier Tour

      Caleta Tortel - Glacier Tour

      We will wake up in this incredible place declared T1pica Zone where we will have breakfast and then go to tour the Jorge Montt Glacier, located on the north side of the south ice field.

      This activity lasts until 16:00 pm approximately.


      We will end the day with our return to Cochrane, where we will spend the night.

      Today our epic adventure comes to an end, we return from Cochrane to Coyhaique. It is a quite long journey (approximately 7 hours). We conclude this incredible trip full of adventures!


      In Coyhaique, we can help you book accommodation and arrange transportation to the airport.


      IMPORTANT Please plan for an extra day in Coyhaique for any eventualities or delays on the route. In other words, consider purchasing bus/plane/car tickets for the day after the end of the trip.
