Particular highlights are the Archbishopโs Palace, the Cathedral (just ashort walk away from the plaza, located in the Santo Domingo Church on the Plaza de la Vera Cruz) and San Francisco Convent. The Convent is one of the most visited religious buildings in the city due to its famous catacombs which hold the remains of around 70,000 people. This also includes a visit of Koricancha, the ancient Golden Temple of the Sun.
