      Salta / 4X4 Full Day Trekking Tour To The Yungas And El Rey National Park

      We start from the city of Salta in 4 ร— 4 crossing, which can be smaller or less demanding depending on the time of year. We will arrive in a few hours to another bio-geographical environment, Las YUNGAS or Montaรฑa Jungle. Once we enter El Rey National Park, we will have the possibility to contact intimately with nature through a walk with our guide through the established trails. Among the varied fauna of this Park, the Pecarรญ de Collar, the Chuรฑa de Patas Rojas and the Corzuela Parda stand out. Its flora is also very varied according to the different height levels within the National Park itself; in the lower zone the transitional forest develops, at 2500 meters it becomes Montaรฑo Forest and at higher altitude the predominance of tall grasslands begins. Lunch consists of a picnic that we will take with us. In the afternoon we return to Salta.

      After breakfast, begin the full day tour that takes you on the same path as the famous "Train to the Clouds", through "Quebrada del Toro" towards San Antonio of the Coppers. Then, through the Puna and continue on Route 40 towards "Salinas Grandes" in Jujuy. Finally, you will descent the Cuesta de Lipan to the picturesque Purmamarca, at the foot of Cerro de los Siete Colores.

  • Day 4 Purmamarca- Humahuaca Gorge

      After breakfast, the tour of Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, begins. But before the Quebrada de Humahuaca, drop in on places like Maimarรก, "Painterโ€™s Palette", Tilcara, "The Pucara of Tilcara" archaeological ruins, Humahuaca, Tropic of Capricorn, Uquรญa (PinturasCuzqueรฑas), Humahuaca and the Independence Monument. Return to Salta.

  • Day 5 Salta To Cafayate: Valles Calchaquies

      Salta To Cafayate: Valles Calchaquies

      The journey starts from Salta city to the south, through route 68 going past different towns of Lerma Valley.

      Arrival to Cachi at lunchtime. The trip continues down route 40 to admire mountainous landscapes with towns of great enchantment. Bordering the Calchaquรญ river, you can observe historical towns such as Seclantas, Molinos, Angastaco, San Carlos and Animana. By the end of the afternoon, we arrive to Cafayate, where we spend 01 night.

  • Day 6 Cafayate - Salta

      Cafayate - Salta

      This day we visit some wineries, and after having lunch, we return to Salta through The Shells ฬ Gorge, visiting the peculiar rock formations caused by the rain and wind, such as The Amphitheatre, or The Devil ฬs Throat. We arrive to Salta after crossing The Lerma Valley.

  • Day 7 Salta

      Salta

      Day at leisure in Salta. Today you can choose activities depending on your departure flight.

      At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport.
