      Bienvenidos in Argentina! Please note that arrival in Buenos Aires is in the morning.


      At noon, youโ€™ll meet your travel companion for the next few weeks and receive a brief brief about the upcoming trip.


      Afterwards, we start with a city tour through the metropolis. Youโ€™ll visit the main sights of Buenos Aires and your guide will tell you more about the history and situation of Argentinaโ€™s capital today. Of course, youโ€™ll also get to know the โ€œcaminitoโ€ in the La Boca district, which is considered the cradle of tango. (duration: 04:00)

      In the evening, you will have a welcome dinner together, where you can also get to know the other travel participants a little better.

      Day 2: Buenos Aires - Tigre Delta - Buenos Aires

      Itโ€™s off to nature and the Tigre Delta off Buenos Aires today. Youโ€™ll go to Tigre by train or bus, where youโ€™ll then paddle or canoe through the Tigre Delta and the various rivers. This tour is also suitable for beginners as the water is relatively calm. Before heading back to Buenos Aires, youโ€™ll also have lunch here and enjoy the ambience of the Delta.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Buenos Aires - Bariloche

      Day 3: Buenos Aires - Bariloche

      Today you fly to North Patagonia, to Bariloche to be more precise. Bariloche is also called South American Switzerland because it is very similar to the country in terms of landscape and architecture of the houses. You can also find delicious chocolate in many corners here. In the afternoon, explore the famous Circuito Chico (small loop). Discover the regionโ€™s flora and fauna and varied landscapes, such as the coast of Lake Nahuel Huapi and the vast Andes panorama. Then take the chairlift up to Cerro Campanario, from where you can enjoy a unique view of the areaโ€™s dreamlike scenery.

      As you visit stunning viewpoints of the area, such as Campanario Hill and Llao-Llao Hotel, the guide explains how this small mountain village has become one of Patagoniaโ€™s most attractive tourist towns. We will enjoy the beauty of the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes as well as Lopez and Capilla mountains. Youโ€™ll take a nature-oriented walk through Llao-llao Nature Park, where the impressive forest is surrounded by Arrayanes trees. The tour ends with a visit to a local microbrewery for lunch and beer tasting.

      Day 5: Bariloche - Puerto Varas

      Today, you will be crossing the border from Argentina to Chile on a regular bus. You will arrive in Puerto Varas, which is located directly on Lake Lllanquihue and at the foot of Osorno volcano. Puerto Varasโ€™s architecture testifies to the large number of German immigrants in the region. In the evening, you can walk along the lakeside promenade.

      Today, youโ€™ll hike in Alerce Andino National Park, south of Puerto Varas. Surrounded by temperate rainforest and many Patagonian cypress and coigue trees. The rivers and lagoons also give this park a beautiful variety.

      The Alerce Andino National Park is located between mountains, volcanoes and the Pacific Ocean. This full-day trip will take you to the start of the Carretera Austral along the coast. Youโ€™ll walk around 5 hours in the Alerce Andino National Park, surrounded by the lush, temperate rainforest, including the ancient and majestic Alerces (Fitzroya Cuppresoides). The transformation of these mountains over millions of years has created a landscape full of rivers, waterfalls and lagoons. (duration: 06:00)

  • Day 7 Day 7: Puerto Varas - Navimag

      Under the motto โ€œtraveldifferentโ€ and โ€œslowtravelโ€ you start your Navimag cruise today from Puerto Montt through the fjords of Patagonia to Puerto Natales.

      Around noon you drive to Puerto Montt to the port and check in at Navimag. The cruise starts from 16:00 at Reloncavรญ Seno, the Gulf of Ancud (Chiloe Island) and continues into the Apiao Canal and then into the Corcovado Gulf at dusk.

      At dawn, youโ€™ll pass the Moraleda Canal. On your trip, you will be surrounded by countless islands that are part of a national park. Continue through more canals in the Pacific Ocean. On the way, there is always the opportunity to enjoy the imposing landscape up close. If luck brings you, youโ€™ll see dolphins, sea lions and many different species of birds. Youโ€™ll cruise through the infamous โ€œGolfo de Peรฑasโ€ overnight, the trip takes around 12 hours, and if youโ€™re very lucky, youโ€™ll see orcas or even humpback whales depending on the season.

      In the morning, the ship navigates through the Messier Canal. At 1270 meters, the canal is one of the deepest canals in Patagonia. As you sail along the canal, you will pass the sunken cargo ship โ€œCapitan Leonidasโ€ which ran aground here in 1970. Today, the wreck serves as a lighthouse. Later, youโ€™ll reach Puerto Edรฉn. Depending on the time available, itโ€™s possible to disembark and explore what is probably the most remote Chilean village. Puerto Eden is located on Wellingten Island. It is one of Chileโ€™s largest islands and part of Bernardo Oโ€™Higgins National Park. The last Kaweskar Indians live in Puerto Edรฉn. Afterwards, you will continue south.

      In the

      morning, you will pass through the Santa Maria Canal to drive through the worldโ€™s narrowest passes, the White Narrow Pass is only 80m wide. From Union Sound, youโ€™ll come to the Ultimo Esperanza Sound Pass that leads to Puerto Natales. You leave the ship early in the evening and are now in the southern part of Patagonia.

      Another highlight is on the programme today - the Torres del Paine National Park! On the way from Puerto Natales to the park, stop at Milodon Cave. This imposing cave was home to a prehistoric giant sloth that was up to 3m tall and whose remains were found here. As you continue to the park, if the weather is hopefully good, you already have the best views of the wind-shaped Pain massif. In the afternoon, youโ€™ll head to Lago Grey where youโ€™ll take a short hike overlooking the Grey Glacier.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Torres Del Paine National Park - Puerto Natales

      Day 12: Torres Del Paine National Park - Puerto Natales

      In the park today, you will pass the most important vantage points, such as Lake Pehoรฉ, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Cuernos del Paine (horns). They also hike to Salto Grande and visit a typical estancia on the edge of the national park where they prepared the Patagonian lamb for us. You will arrive in Puerto Natales in the evening.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Puerto Natales - El Calafate

      Day 13: Puerto Natales - El Calafate

      You are leaving Chile today! The regular bus takes you from Puerto Natales through the vast and lonely steppe of Patagonia across the border to Argentina. When you arrive in El Calafate, you have the afternoon at your leisure. For example, we recommend a walk to Laguna Nimes on the outskirts of the city, where you can see many birds right on the coast of Lake Argentino. Or visit the Glaciarium, a modern museum where you can learn everything about glaciers.

      In the morning, another highlight is on the program, as you drive to the Perito Moreno glacier! Already in the immediate vicinity of the glacier, you can not only see the huge ice masses, but also hear them. The glacier moves several centimetres forward every day, so that ice splits off somewhere every minute and sometimes falls loudly into Lake Argentino. You have time to look at the impressive glacier from various angles on the well-developed terraces and enjoy it. Later, youโ€™ll also take a boat trip that will take you to the edge of the glacier.

  • Day 15 Day 15: El Calafate - Ushuaia

      Day 15: El Calafate - Ushuaia

      Today, youโ€™ll fly to Ushuaia, Argentinaโ€™s southernmost city and the end of the world. If flight times allow, we recommend a boat trip on the Beagle Channel, which you can optionally book. Or visit the former prison, which now houses a museum. In addition to insights into Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaiaโ€™s history, it also provides some interesting information about Antarctic expeditions and is home to current art exhibitions.

      After breakfast, you will head to Tierra del Fuego National Park.

      Tierra del Fuego National Park also means Tierra del Fuego National Park. The 630 kmยฒ area is the southernmost national park in Argentina and is located in the southeastern part of the island Tierra del Fuego. On a hike of around 3-4 hours, youโ€™ll see beautiful landscapes and learn a lot about native flora and fauna. You will then reach a hut in the middle of nature, where lunch is served. Then donโ€™t miss out on the canoe trip that takes you all the way to Lapataia Bay. This is where the famous Pan-American Highway ends, which leads from Alaska to this point in Tierra del Fuego. After returning to the hotel, the evening is free for you.

      Today, you will leave Patagonia and fly back to Buenos Aires. You can relax there in the afternoon before a final highlight is on the program. In the evening, your farewell dinner takes place in an old theatre. Afterwards you can also see a tango show here. If you want, you can also dance here yourself and learn the basic steps of this passionate dance.
