Airport pick up and drop off by private car/Jeep. Kathmandu to Pokhara to Kathmandu Transportation by Tourist Bus. Pokhara to Nayapul to Pokhara transportation by private vehicles.

  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrive In Kathmandu (1,350M) & Transfer To Hotel.

      A representative from Sherpa Expedition & Trekking will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, and take you to your hotel. After arriving at your hotel we will have a briefing where you will have an opportunity to ask questions about the trek and also receive a trek itinerary. You will also meet with your guide.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu To Pokhara (9,00 M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu To Pokhara (9,00 M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      We will pick you up at 6:30 am from your hotel and take you to the tourist bus station. The bus trip should take around six to seven hours before arriving at Pokhara โ€“ the well known starting point for trekkers and famous for Phewa Tal (lake). You can also take in some fantastic views of Annapurna and Machapuchare (Fishtail) to the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, and Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. Staying in a hotel at Lakeside, Phewa Tal, will also allow you to shop and visit the cafes and bars as you watch the sunset over the lake. Breakfast included.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Drive From Pokhara To Nayapul (1,010 M) & Trek To Tikhedunga (1,570 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Today we head by private vehicle to Nayapul and then hit the trail and follow the banks of the Modi Khola (river) until we reach Birethanti Village (1,015m). We will then trek along the north bank of the Burundi Khola before ascending up through the valley to Hille (1,495m). Not long after we come to Tikhedhunga (1,570m). The dayโ€™s trek is not too exhausting and is relatively easy. Tonight we will stay at a guesthouse. Breakfast, Lundc & Dinner included.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek From Tikhedhunga To Ghorepani (2,840 M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      A steep climb takes us to the Magar village of Ulleri (2,070m). From here we again climb higher through rhododendron and oak forests until reaching Banthanti (2,250m) and then continue to Nangethanti (2,460m). One more hour on the trail and we come to Ghorepani (2,840m) where we will stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Hike Up To Poon Hill (3,210 M) & Trek To Tadapani (2,610 M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      In order to truly appreciate the view from Poon Hill, we get up before sunrise. It will take an hour to reach Poon Hill (3,210m) where the views are absolutely mind-boggling. The mountains are glistening in the pristine light of the morning, reflecting various colors of the snow-white peaks. After frantically snapping photos we will head back down to Ghorepani (2960m) for breakfast. Heading away from Ghorepani we ascend along mountain ridges, through rhododendron and pine forests before reaching Deurali (2,960m). After descending we come to a cross-road at Banthanti and then head to Tadapani. We will stay the night here at a guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch & included.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Tadapani To Chomrong (2,140 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      The trail today heads down a steep hill through rhododendron forests before reaching a predominantly Gurung village not far from Chomrong Village (2,140m) where we will stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

      We start the trek today by heading down to Chomrong Khola (river) and then climb up to Khuldighar (2,380m) that was previously an Annapurna Conservation Area checkpoint. Not much further from here, we descend a steep rocky trail passing through bamboo near the bottom of the gorge while staying on the west side of the river. Again we head through bamboo and rhododendron forests until we reach the Himalayan Hotel. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Deurali To Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Today we ascend and on the way to ABC, we pass Hinko Cave, Deurali, and Machapuchare Base Camp before reaching Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) (4,130m). At this altitude, you will have spectacular clear and unimpeded views over the surrounding peaks. This is definitely another opportunity to get your camera out!

      We will stay here at a guesthouse overnight. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.


  • Day 9 Day 9: Annapurna Base Camp To Bamboo (2345 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      We head back on the same route we took getting to ABC, descending a quite staggering 1,700m down to the bank of the Modi Khola and on to Bamboo (2,345m) where we will stay at a guesthouse for the night. Breakfast, Lunch & included.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Bamboo To Jhinu (1,780 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Once more we take the trail back to Chomrong, first passing Khuldighar and then through rhododendron and bamboo forests. There is a very steep descent to Chomrong and to Jhinu Danda where we can relax in the hot springs. We will stay here overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Trek From Jhinu Danda To Nayapul (1,010 M) & Drive To Pokhara (9,00M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      Leaving Jhinu Danda we follow along the banks of the Modi Khola for around 4.5 hours until we reach Birethanti. The trek today is considered to be the most enjoyable of the entire trek. It is more like a gentle walk than what we have previously encountered. Once we reach Nayapul we will drive back to Pokhara. Once we have checked in at the hotel we plan to take a boat trip to Barahi Temple, located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Tal (lake). Breakfast & Lunch included.

      The next morning we head back to Kathmandu. Along the way you will have time to reflect on your trek to Annapurna Base Camp, while considering a wish list of places to visit next in Nepal. There is of course, a Chitwan jungle safari tour, plunging down the rapids on a rafting adventure, mountain biking, or a guided shopping tour of Kathmandu. We will take you to your hotel. Breakfast included.

      Today is the day to wave goodbye to the beautiful Himalayas and Nepal. A representative from Sherpa Expedition & Trekking will take you to the airport with plenty of time prior to your departure. On your way home you will maybe start thinking about your next adventure within the beautiful Himalayan Mountains of Nepal.
