The ancient city of Petra is one of Jordanโ€™s national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra is the legacy of the Nabateans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site Much of Petraโ€™s appeal coming from its spectacular setting deep inside a narrow desert gorge.

We will begin with a 2hrs hike through little Petra and beautiful surrounding mountains area, until you reach the monastery (pictured above). Then you will continue through the main site of Petra exiting from the main gate. (surcharge of $180USD for 1 โ€“ 6 pax for the guide for this option)
