Day 1: San Pedro Sula - La Esperanza - Marcala
Stop At: Municipalidad de Intibucá, Departamento de, Honduras
On route to Marcala, we will stop in the town of La Esperanza, Intibuca for a walking tour with a local guide. Intibuca is home to the Lenca people and a great place to buy colorful Lenca garments
Duration: 2 hours
Meals included:
• Dinner: We will enjoy a "tipico" dinner while we hear about the history of coffee in the country
Accommodation included: Standard hotel located in the town of Marcala. Private bathroom/shower in room
Day 2: A full day of coffee experiences
Stop At: Finca Los Catadores, Departamento de, La Paz, Honduras
In the morning we will visit Finca Los Catadores to learn about growing, harvesting and processing coffee. The farm is located at over 1600 meters above sea level and is shade-grown. Farmer meet-and-greet.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Exotico's Cafe, Calle Principal, Marcala, Honduras
In the afternoon we will have a coffee tasting session, featuring coffee varieties grown in the region of Marcala

Day 3: Learn about coffee, birds and sustainability
Stop At: Marcala La Paz, Honduras
In the morning, after breakfast we visit our second farm near Marcala. We will meet the farmer, and enjoy an on-site coffee tasting with views of the farm and surrounding landscape

In the afternoon we will visit the offices of a coffee cooperative, and learn about the business of exporting coffee, as well as the efforts to make the farms more bird-friendly and sustainable.

Day 4: Exploring the colonial city of Comayagua
Stop At: Museo de Comayagua, Frente la Plaza San Francisco, Comayagua Honduras
With a local guide we will enjoy a walking tour of the historic district of Comayagua, the first capital of Honduras. Including stops in the central plaza, museum, and Cathedral.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Main Square, Comayagua CM2100 Honduras
As part of the walking tour we will stop by the Cathedral located in the central plaza. In the tower you will see the oldest working clock in the Americas, brought from Europe during the Colonial Period
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Oh! Cafe, Comayagua, Honduras
After the walk in the historic district we will enjoy our farewell coffee tasting session led by a barista from a local specialty coffee shop, featuring coffee from around Honduras
Duration: 2 hours

Day 5: Transfer back to San Pedro Sula via Lake Yojoa region
Stop At: Lake Yojoa, Road CA-5, aproximately at 160 Km from Tegucigalpa, La Guama Honduras
On our way back to San Pedro Sula we will have the opportunity to stop in Lake Yojoa and admire the views of Honduras' largest fresh water lake
