  • Day 1 Day 1-3: Xi’An

      Day 1-3: Xi’An

      Day 1: Arrange your international flight to get to Xi’an by yourself, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel check in.

      Day 2: we will visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, and the Wild Goose Pagoda. then stroll around the Muslim street.

      The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: This is one of the greatest archaeological findings of the 20th century - the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin Shi Huang’s tomb from two thousand years ago. 

      Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The Big Goose Pagoda is where the renowned Buddhist Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought back all the way from India. The pagoda is one of the oldest structures in China.

      Day 3: We will visit Shaanxi History Museum, Xian City Wall,After that we will send you to the train station to catch your express train to Lanzhou.

      Shaanxi History Museum: This provincial museum is one of the major museums in China. It holds numerous unearthed cultural artifacts from within the Shaanxi province as well as the rest of China. 

      The Ancient City Wall: This is the most complete city wall that has survived in China as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

  • Day 2 Day 4: Lanzhou

      Breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to visit the Binglingsi Thousand Buddha Caves which is close to Liujiaxia Reservoir, These caves stretch for 200 meters, were built during the Western Qin, North Wei, Sui, Tang, and Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasties (between the 3rd and 18th centuries). after that transfer to the train station and take the express train to Zhangye.

  • Day 3 Day 5: Zhangye

      Day 5: Zhangye

      After breakfast, we will head to visit the Grand Buddha Temple, which is the important place of the Silk Road. then visit the Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park，which is 510 square kilometers in total, it located in the north of Qilian mountains, SuNa County territory. It includes the colour hills in Linze country ,ice hills, Danxia and GanZhou District and PingShan lake. The scenic Danxia, is a distance of 40 km from east Zhang Ye city, north from Linze county town by 20 kilometers, this is the most typical arid area of northern China. Afterwards, we will take the train to Jiayuguan.

  • Day 4 Day 6: Jiayuguan

      Day 6: Jiayuguan

      In the morning, visit the Jiayuguan pass. This Ming Dynasty fort guards the strategic Jiayuguan pass, at the western end of the Great Wall – this was the last section built by the Ming Dynasty. The Great Wall Museum opened to visitor in October 1989 and it is the first one to exhibit the Great Wall culture in a comprehensive and systematic way. visit the Weijin Tombs, which are ancient tombs of brick paintings dating back 265-420 AD. The wall paintings discovered are lifelike and succinct in style and cover a wide range of subjects including politics, economics, culture, military affairs, folk customs, and science and technology during the Wei and Jin periods. Then transfer to the train station to catch your express train to Dunhuang(Liuyuan Station).

  • Day 5 Day 7: Dunhuang

      Morning visit the Mogao Caves, visit the Echoing Sand Mountaion&Crescent Lake. then transfer to the train station to catch your express train to Turpan.

      Mogao Grottoes, also known as the Thousand Buddha Grottoes, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the great artistic and religious wonders of the world and it is famous for its exquisite murals and various sculptures inside the caves, which was built in different dynasties, spanning 1,000 years of Buddhist art.

      Echoing-Sand Mountain or “Mingsha Mountain” is one of the Four Great Singing Sands of China. Completely piled by sands, the mountain stretches for 40km in length and 20km in width respectively, with the highest point reaching 250m. When there is wild wind, the sands will be blown up and make loud sound, while the sound sounds like being produced by some ancient musical instrument when blew by breeze, hence the name. Surrounded by the Mingsha Mountain, Crescent Lake, is named after its crescent-like shape. According to historical record, the lake has been in existence for hundreds of years without ever being buried by the sand; it is really a geological wonder.

  • Day 6 Day 8: Turpan-Urumqi

      Day 8: Turpan-Urumqi

      Morning breakfast at the hotel, then we will be visiting the Tuyoq Village, constructed in eastern and western cliffs in Tuyoq valley . more than 40 caves, there are 10 preserving murals. Karez Well, which is a special irrigation system in desert areas. Sugong Minaret, the largest Islamic minaret in China built in 1778.Jiaohe Ruins—with a history of 2,300 years lies between two rivers on a loess plateau atop a cliff of over 30m. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China, it was include in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014. then drive back to Urumqi. visit the Xinjiang International Bazaar, the largest bazaar in Urumqi. You’ll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and almost anything that you can imagine.

  • Day 7 Day 9: Urumqi

      Day 9: Urumqi

      Morning drive to Fukang and visit the Heavenly Lake, a picturesque Alpine lake, 2000m up in the Tianshan mountain range. Heavenly Lake is a long and narrow gourd-shaped moraine lake, 3400 meters long, about 1500 meters wide, 105 meters at the deepest point, with an average depth of 40 meters, covering an area of about 5.9 square kilometers. There are eight beautiful scenic spots in the lake scenic area.

      Afternoon, back to Urumqi, visit the Xinjiang Region Museum, a large integrated museum and a centre for the collection and study of cultural relics in Xinjiang.
