      Drive through coffee and ornamental plantations to the Arenal Volcano area. Here you will visit the Ecocentro Danaus nature conservation center, where you can experience first hand the biodiversity that characterizes Costa Rica.       Early in the morning the journey continues via Horquetas to Guรกpiles. After a small breakfast we continue to Caรฑo Blanco/La Pavona for the boat transfer.   • Day 6 Tortuguero National Park

      On a boat tour through the canals of Tortuguero National Park in the early hours of the morning, with a bit of luck you can see crocodiles, monkeys, turtles, sloths, bats, iguanas and of course numerous species of birds.       In the morning return by boat to La Pavona / Caรฑo Blanco. We then take the bus to Guรกpiles for lunch. Afterwards you continue to the port city of Limรณn.       Today the 4x4 vehicle will take you back to Bananito. Afterwards we continue to the Cahuita National Park. In the afternoon you say goodbye to the coastal region and continue to the region around the volcanoes Irazรบ and Turrialba. F

      Today you will walk with your tour guide through the extensive campus of the University of Tropical Agriculture and its exotic botanical garden.

      In the afternoon you have the optional opportunity to go horseback riding across the neighboring fincas of Casa Turire or you would like to jump into the cool waters of the crystal-clear Pejibaye River and take part in an extremely easy rafting tour of Category I-II.
