  • Day 1 Day 1: Venice - Poreฤ - Pula

      Day 1: Venice - Poreฤ - Pula

      Pick up from Venice Tronchetto bus station or Venice Mestre or Venice airport (Marco Polo, Treviso). 

      Scenic drive to our first stop - Poreฤ, popular summer destination of the Istrian Peninsula in western Croatia. In historic old town, you will see the 6th-century Euphrasian Basilica complex famous for its gem-studded Byzantine mosaics - UNESCO SIGHT. Guided tour and free time for lunch or coffee.

      Transfer and overnight in Pula.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Pula And Excursion To Brijuni National Park

      Day 2: Pula And Excursion To Brijuni National Park

      After easy morning and breakfast guided tour of Pula, a seafront city on the tip of Croatiaโ€™s Istrian Peninsula, known for its protected harbor, beach-lined coast and Roman ruins, a breathtaking amphitheater, temples and a collection of 2,000 years old arches. Settled in the prehistoric era and valued for its strategic location, Pula has been occupied, destroyed and rebuilt numerous times.

      Short drive to Faลพana, a small town where we will start our boat tour to Brijuni archipelago. On the island the tour starts with a visit to the museum and explanation of how the was an island used by Yugoslaviaโ€™s former President, Marshal Josip Broz Tito who was fond of Faลพana and the Brijuni Islands, spending up to six months of his year there. After introduction You will visit botanical garden, drive with train and see all amazing flora and fauna. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Pula.

      Morning departure to Motovun, small hilltop medieval town with amazing local food and wine, especially truffles - in Motovun forest - Guinness book of record truffle was found, 1.310 grams! Almost in all restaurants, You can taste various meals with truffles and other local specialties.

      Drive to Opatija, a coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. A fashionable resort in the 19th century, itโ€™s dotted with Habsburg-era villas. The Lungomare is a promenade that snakes along the coastline, offering views of the town and neighboring islands. Overnight in Opatija.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Opatija - Plitvice Lakes (Unesco) - Split

      Day 4: Opatija - Plitvice Lakes (Unesco) - Split

      Morning departure to exceptional National park Plitvice lakes (UNESCO SITE), 295-sq.-km forest reserve in central Croatia. Itโ€™s known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls, that extend into a limestone canyon. Walkways and hiking trails wind around and across the water, and an electric boat links the 12 upper and 4 lower lakes. The latter are the site of Veliki Slap, a 78m-high waterfall. After 3 hours in park, drive to Split and overnight.

      Day 5: Split

      Morning guided tour of Split and Diocletian palace (UNESCO SITE), erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century. Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. Within its white stone walls and under its courtyards are a cathedral and numerous shops, bars, cafes, hotels and houses.End of tour.
