      greatest hits, from Victoria Glacier to Moraine Lake to what is perhaps the most postcard-perfect lake in Banff โ€” Emerald Lake.

      After breakfast start your day with hotel pickup in Banff, and proceed on a short drive up to the parkโ€™s

      famous Bow Valley Parkway, a scenic route that is often frequented by local wildlife like elk, deer and

      more than 200 species of birds. Back on the coach, youโ€™ll continue to Emerald Lake, an emerald-colored lake tucked between a series of mountain peaks below Victoria Glacier. Stop for a quick lunch here at the lake before visiting nearby Moraine Lake, another amazing alpine sight, as well as the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Moving on, head over the Great Divide and into Yoho National Park, via the picturesque Kicking Horse Pass, for a stop at the Spiral Tunnels.       Jasper, an alpine town in Canadaโ€™s Alberta province, is the commercial centre of Jasper National Park. Amid the snow-capped Canadian Rockies, the park has glacier-fed lakes, forests and rivers. The Jasper SkyTram climbs to the summit of Whistlers Mountain, with views of downtown.

      The Jasper Yellowhead Museum and Archives presents exhibits on the fur trade, railway and early

      exploration of the park. Jasperโ€™s Patricia Street is lined in shops and cafes. Flowing through town, the Athabasca River is known for white-water rafting. Nearby lakes include Annette, Mildred and Pyramid, offering boating, kayaking and ice-skating.

      The 1920s Jasper Park Lodge features an 18-hole golf course. The famous Icefields Parkway scenic

      route begins at Jasperโ€™s white Mystery Rock and goes southeast to Banff National Park. Popular winter activities include downhill and cross-country skiing.
