  • Day 1 Meeting In Coyhaique - Head To Puyuhuapi And Relax At The Hot Springs

      Meeting In Coyhaique - Head To Puyuhuapi And Relax At The Hot Springs

      Today our great adventure begins! 

      We will meet at a convenient point in Coyhaique at 12 PM to start our journey to Puyuhuapi. 

      Upon arrival in the afternoon, we will go to relax at some nice local Hot Springs.


      We go to the campsite where we will have our first dinner as a group.


  • Day 2 Explore Queulat Park

      Explore Queulat Park

      Today we will go to the Queulat National Park, located in the Aysรฉn Region, with more than 154,000 hectares, it stands out for the protection of its great fauna. We can find the black woodpecker, condor, the chucao, pudรบ, among others. This park has lush Andean forests; as lenga, and coigรผe, both very typical of Patagonia. Here we will make a trekking.


      In this place, you will find the well-known Queulat Hanging Glacier, to which you can make an optional navigation (not included).

  • Day 3 Visit Chaiten & Pumalin Park

      Visit Chaiten & Pumalin Park

      We will move towards Chaitรฉn where we will take a short tour through Pumalin Park. 

      The Pumalin Park being a temperate rainforest, fjords, expansive Pacific coastline, and the Andes Mountains converge in this iconic park at the northern end of the Carretera Austral. The park is a haven for the endangered alerce tree with 25 percent of the remaining population of these forest giants being protected in Pumalรญn. Thousands of waterfalls cascade down from glaciers and steep granite walls, and the Michinmahuida and Chaitรฉn Volcanoes crown the landscape. 


      In this unique area, Chilean and German cultures blend, as the German settlers were the colonizers of the region. Here we will camp and rest.

  • Day 4 Transportation To Caleta Gonzalo - Boat Ride To Hornopirรฉn

      Transportation To Caleta Gonzalo - Boat Ride To Hornopirรฉn

      On this day, departing from Chaitรฉn we move to Caleta Gonzalo where we will take a boat to cross Hornopirรฉn through the Fiordo Largo.


      We will arrive at Hornopirรฉn, surrounded by beautiful green forests, hot springs, hanging snowdrifts, and mountains. This is a land where rough trails make hikers feel like true pioneers, discovering thousand-year-old alerce trees in temperate rainforests, hidden lakes, and waterfalls fed by vast fields of glaciers.

      Here we will spend the night.

  • Day 5 Exploration To Puelo - Adventure In Cochamรณ

      Exploration To Puelo - Adventure In Cochamรณ

      After breakfast, we will leave for Cochamรณ, a small town in the province of Llanquihue.

      On the way we will visit Puelo, spectacular with its turquoise waters!

      We will arrive to set up camp in the town of Cochamรณ, which is characterized by its large hills that are commonly used as a place for climbing. It has a spectacular view of the Yates Volcano and the Reloncavi Estuary. We will camp in the area.

  • Day 6 Excursion To Saltos Del Petrohuรฉ - Transportation To Puerto Varas

      Excursion To Saltos Del Petrohuรฉ - Transportation To Puerto Varas

      In the morning we will set up camp and go visit the wonderful Petrohuรฉ Waterfalls. The fallsโ€™ steps are made up of dramatic basalt formations, brought to the surface eons ago by the snow-capped Osorno Volcano, which rises photogenically above the cascade.

      Then we continue the route to the city of Puerto Varas, where our epic journey ends!


      We finish this incredible trip full of adventures!


      *IMPORTANT* Please organize an extra day in Puerto Varas for any eventuality and/or delay in the route. Consider buying bus/plane/car tickets the day after the end of the trip. We can help you arrange a hotel or cabin.
