  • Day 1 Day 1: City Of Dreams: Welcome To New York!
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 1: City Of Dreams: Welcome To New York!

"I want to be part of it, New York, New York" - is it Frank Sinatra providing the soundtrack for today or Alicia Keys singing "New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of"? Goodbye, home and hello, United States! You get on the plane and before you know it, your feet are on American soil! You take the subway or a cab to your hotel.
You check in, but canโ€™t stay inside for long - your curiosity about the megacity is far too great! What better way to get an overview of the metropolis than from above? "The Edge" offers you a breathtaking view of the unmistakable skyline (optional, payable on site). Do you dare to look down through the glass floor? Last destination for today: Times Square, the beating heart of the city. It is shrill, colorful, hectic and loud here at any time of day or night. Neon signs and video screens vie for your attention and you donโ€™t know where to look first!
  • Day 2 Day 2: Iconic Must Sees: Brooklyn Bridge &Amp; Lady Liberty
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 2: Iconic Must Sees: Brooklyn Bridge &Amp; Lady Liberty

Are you ready for the urban jungle? Start your city tour early in the morning at the famous Brooklyn Bridge. The view of Manhattan in the light of the rising sun is magical! Fancy breakfast? Be sure to try the bagel creations at Ess-a-Bagel! Well fortified, let yourself drift through Manhattan - literally: take the free ferry to Staten Island, which will take you to the cityโ€™s landmark - Lady Liberty. Itโ€™s an incredible feeling to stand right in front of this graceful figure. From the ferry, you have a fantastic view of the skyline, whose skyscrapers glitter in the sunlight. Back on land, we head to another must-see: the 9/11 Memorial (optional, payable on site), which commemorates the attacks of September 11, 2001. At Ground Zero, where the Twin Towers once stood, there are now two fountains that make the gap clearly visible. The best place to end the afternoon is Greenwich Village. It is teeming with pretty boutiques, vintage stores and cozy cafรฉs.
  • Day 3 Day 3: Big Apple: Between Central Park &Amp; Empire State Building
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 3: Big Apple: Between Central Park &Amp; Empire State Building

A visit to the diner? A must! Start the day with a hearty breakfast at Ellenโ€™s Stardust. The famous Broadway is just around the corner. You might even bump into your favorite movie star here - nothing is impossible in New York! If you are interested in one of the many musicals, be sure to check at the ticket counter to see if tickets are still available. With a bit of luck, you can get a real bargain here! One big highlight is still missing: Central Park! New Yorkโ€™s green lung is a must-see on any trip! And luckily itโ€™s not far away. Here you can escape the urban jungle for a while. With a coffee in hand, make yourself comfortable on a park bench and observe life away from the hustle and bustle before taking a closer look at Midtown Manhattan. In addition to the famous Empire State Building and the Flatiron Building, youโ€™ll also find plenty of food trucks that will make your culinary heart beat faster.
  • Day 4 Day 4: Washington, D.C.: The Capital Is Calling!
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 4: Washington, D.C.: The Capital Is Calling!

Today itโ€™s time to say goodbye to New York. But not without a walk through one of the most extraordinary parks in the world: the High Line Park! At a height of 9 meters, you can stroll through the green park between skyscrapers. Sounds crazy? It is! Because the park was built on an old elevated railway line. Have you had another rest? Then itโ€™s time to make your way to the station. The Amtrak train is just coming to a halt on the tracks and you make yourself comfortable at the window. Small towns and large cities, green landscapes and pure wilderness alternate along the train route. After a good three hours, itโ€™s time to say: "Next stop - Washington, D.C."!
Welcome to the capital of the United States. You make your own way to your accommodation, but you donโ€™t stay long. Your curiosity about the city - the most powerful in the world - is far too great! And it is unexpectedly tranquil. Hustle and bustle, skyscrapers? Not a chance! Of course, you head straight for the cityโ€™s most important sights, all of which can be found on a walk along the National Mall. The White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and Capitol: all ticked off! And now? Off you go to the cobbled streets of Georgetown, perhaps the most beautiful district in the city. Finally, try the food on offer at Benโ€™s Chili Bowl - itโ€™s not without reason that this snack bar attracts all the big names from show business and politics!

The days in Washington flew by. Speaking of flights, itโ€™s off to the airport for you now, because your next destination is already waiting for you! Your plane is not taking you back home, but to the legendary Sunshine State! After a few hours, itโ€™s "Welcome to Miami". As soon as you have picked up your rental car, turn up the Will Smith tune and set off.
Your destination? Key West! Suddenly itโ€™s in front of you: the Overseas Highway. The road in front of you and nothing around you but the sea glistening in the sun. What a feeling! A whole 200 kilometers and more than 40 bridges lead you to the end of the highway. Unbelievable, isnโ€™t it? When you finally arrive, all thatโ€™s left to do is get into your swimsuit and head to the beach! Fortunately, the Florida Keys are only ever a stoneโ€™s throw away.

Did you know that the writer Ernest Hemingway lived here? You can even visit his estate with its animal inhabitants - descendants of his famous six-toed cats (admission payable on site). When the sun slowly sets, Mallory Square really comes to life! The square is THE sunset spot par excellence. Here, the sunset is not simply enjoyed, no, it is celebrated and applauded. The biodiversity is incredible! A water turtle here, a manatee there, herons, pelicans, cormorants, snakes ... You wonโ€™t know where to look first! Are the watchful eyes of an alligator looking for prey lurking there? And then one emerges from the water. You press the shutter button on your camera every second and your goose bumps wonโ€™t go away. A real once-in-a-lifetime moment!
