  • Day 1 Arrival Urumqi

      Welcome to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang Province in China. Upon arrival at Urumqi Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Urumqi. Enjoy the rest time of the day.

  • Day 2 Urumqi - Heavenly Lake(Tianchi) - Fuyun/Beitun By Car

      Urumqi - Heavenly Lake(Tianchi) - Fuyun/Beitun By Car

      It is a long day today to drive nearly 500km. Firstly you will take one-hour car ride to Heavenly Lake, then visit the impressive high-mountain lake in Tianshan Mountains. 

      Afterwards you will take 6-hour car ride through the Gurbantunggut Desert, the second biggest desert in China. Later, check in the hotel in Fuyun town or Beitun. Please note this is a small town, and the hotel is very basic.

  • Day 3 Fuyun/Beitun To Hemu Village By Car

      Fuyun/Beitun To Hemu Village By Car

      Today you will take 7-hour car ride for 400km to Hemu Village, which is a small Tuwa village located in the valley of the Altai Mountains. The village looks like a wooden world from the top of the village. 

      Explore the village this afternoon.

  • Day 4 Hemu Village To Kanas By Car

      Hemu Village To Kanas By Car

      Enjoy the morning views in the Hemu Village, then head to Kanas Lake for 2 hours by car. This is a big area, you will take sightseeing bus to different parts including Kanas Lake, Crescent Moon Bay, Sleeping Dragon Bay(Wolong Bay), and Shengxian Bay, Guanyu Pavilion etc.

      Later, you will check in the hotel at Jiadengyu.

  • Day 5 Kanas To Buerjin By Car

      Kanas To Buerjin By Car

      Today you will drive 4 hours back to Buerjin County, where you will visit the colorful Multi-colored River Beach near the town. There are various colors clay beside the Ertix River, which is nice for the photos when it is sunset time.

      Explore the night market tonight in Buerjin.

  • Day 6 Buerjin To Kuitun By Car, Visit Ghost City

      Buerjin To Kuitun By Car, Visit Ghost City

      Today you will take 5-hour car ride for 455km, and visit Karamay Ghost City on the way, which is a yardan landscape with differnt clay formations, and it is very impressive to view such big area.

  • Day 7 Kuitun To Urumqi By Car, Visit Dushanzi Grand Canyon On The Way

      Kuitun To Urumqi By Car, Visit Dushanzi Grand Canyon On The Way

      After breakfast, you will drive one hour to Dushanzi Grand Canyon in the Tianshan mountains. The huge canyon is stunning to view.

      Afterwards, you will take 4-hour car ride for 280km back to Urumqi.

      If you are interested, you can visit Erdaoqiao Bazaar this afternoon.

  • Day 8 Departing From Urumqi
