      Arrival in Entebbe and welcome by our guide. Transfer to Entebbe.

      Entebbe โ€“ Murchison Falls

      The Uganda private trip can begin: Early in the morning you leave Kampala and drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way there is an optional visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Immediately after entering the national park, past the lowland rainforest, the route goes up and over a side hill of the Great Rift Valley down into the Nile Valley and the wide savannah there.

      Youโ€™ll stop at the summit of the famous Murchison Falls, where the Nile drops 6 meters across its entire width over rapids before returning to a calmer river. Overnight stay near the Nile, where you can listen to the exciting sounds of laughing hyenas, roaring lions and grunting hippos.

  • Day 3 Murchison Falls

      Murchison Falls

      Early morning game drive. Surrounded by elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs and baboons, you will experience the diversity of the national park. In the afternoon, take a boat trip upriver to the foot of the waterfall. From a safe distance you will see crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffalo and many other inhabitants of the Nile.

      Drive south, downhill to the westernmost edge of Uganda. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and the friendly people who will give you an insight into the culture of Ugandan life. You will experience the populated crater lake region, which lies below the approximately 5000m high Rwenzori Mountains. Continue to the eastern edge of the Kibale rainforest.

      Put on your hiking boots because today youโ€™ll go on a bush tour - chimpanzee trekking - through the fascinating jungle. Experience our closest relatives swinging from tree to tree or frolicking in front of you. This park is home to 12 species of primates such as  chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons and rare birds such as the giant turaco. Optionally go to the nearby rainforest and/or Bigodi Marsh in the afternoon.

  • Day 6 Kibale โ€“ Queen Elizabeth Np

      Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the most fascinating and beautiful national parks in Uganda. In the afternoon game drive or optional guided hike on the Mweya Peninsula.

      Early morning game drive at the best time; With a bit of luck you can experience lions, hippos, buffaloes, leopards, spotted hyenas, elephants, antelopes and giant wild boars up close. In the afternoon you will enjoy a wonderful boat trip on the Kazinga Canal, which connects Lakes Edward and George. A high concentration of hippos/hippos can be observed here. Ideal view for photography; More than 550 species of birds are native here.

  • Day 8 Queen Elizabeth Np โ€“ Ishasha

      Queen Elizabeth Np โ€“ Ishasha

      Early morning game drive, optionally a hike to see the chimpanzees in the Kyambura Gorge. In the afternoon you continue your journey through the national park and head to the southernmost and best-known region of Ishasha. This area is known for its tree-climbing lions. Afternoon game drive.

  • Day 9 Ishasha โ€“ Bwindi

      Before you leave the national park, go on a game drive. Then you drive to the southwest of the country, where you can admire the fascinating landscapes and the misty mountains of the gorillas. Overnight stay in a lodge on the edge of the gorilla territory. Place of overnight stay depending on the gorilla group to be visited.

  • Day 10 Bwindi Impenetrable

      Bwindi Impenetrable

      Ascend with the sun to the green-shrouded and misty mountain to see the rarest primate species in the world.  Gorilla Trekking โ€“  An estimated 300 individuals live in Bwindi. The chance of seeing a mountain gorilla in all its glory is almost 100%. After spending an hour with the gorillas, you will drive back to the lodge. Place of overnight stay depending on the gorilla group to be visited.

  • Day 11 Lake Mutanda (Bwindi / Lake Bunyonyi)

      Lake Mutanda (Bwindi / Lake Bunyonyi)

      Depending on the allocation of the gorilla permits and therefore the gorilla families to be visited, two variants are possible:


      a) Drive to Lake Mutanda in the border triangle Rwanda-Congo-Uganda. This region is one of the most beautiful in Central Africa. If the weather is clear you can see three volcanoes on the Congolese side. A breathtaking sight! Choose 1 activity from the following options: Visit a Batwa Pygmy Village, Lakeside Hike or Lake Mutanda Boat Trip. Overnight at Lake Mutanda.


      b) Drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a fjord-like lake in the middle of a hilly landscape. This region is also called the Switzerland of Uganda. Possible activities: Visit a Batwa Pygmy village, hike along the lakeshore or take a boat or canoe trip on Lake Bunyonyi. Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi.



  • Day 12 Mgahinga Np - Lake Bunyonyi

      Mgahinga Np - Lake Bunyonyi

      Drive to Mgahinga National Park. Two gorilla families and the rare Golden Monkey live here! Choose 1 activity from the following options: Hike in Mgahinga NP, maybe see the Golden Monkey and other primates or Relax at Lake Mutanda or Hike up an extinct volcano that is part of the Virunga Massif ecosystem. We then continue to spend the night at Lake Bunyonyi.

  • Day 13 Lake Bunyonyi โ€“ Lake Mburo

      Lake Bunyonyi โ€“ Lake Mburo

      You drive to the beautiful Lake  Mburo National Park. The best place to see eland as well as zebras, topi, impala and various bird species. There are no lions or elephants in this park, making it an ideal place for hikes accompanied by rangers (optional). The five lakes in the national park are home to hippos, crocodiles and a wide variety of water birds. In the afternoon, optional game drive or hike.

  • Day 14 Lake Mburo โ€“ Kampala / Entebbe
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Lake Mburo โ€“ Kampala / Entebbe

      Game drive or hike through the park. Afterwards drive to Kampala with a stopover at the equator. Our journey ends here. End of the Uganda private trip. If you continue your flight, we recommend another overnight stay in Entebbe or a departure from 6 p.m.
