At your arrival, you will be welcomed at IVATO international airport by our team, and then we will transfer you to the hotel. If time allows, we will give you some briefing of the tour.

This day, you will depart for a new adventure to the northern part of the island. Then, according to the flight’s schedule, you will be transferred to Ivato international airport and take off to Diego Suarez. At your arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. If time allows, you will make a city tour to discover the beautiful city of Diego Suarez and make a visit of the three bays

Diego Suarez: Visit Of The Emerald Sea

In the morning, you will leave the hotel for a full-day excursion. You will drive to the Ramena beach. From there, you will cross the bay in a fishing boat; you will pass through the red rock and will arrive in the blue glowing Emerald sea. Afterwards, you will land on an unique spot. On the way back, you will admire the most spectacular coral of the emeralrd sea. Then, after the outing you will get back to the hotel.

After breakfast, you will drive to the National Park of Amber Mountain, which belongs to the last primary forest of Madagascar.

In less than an hour you immerse into the green forest of the Amber Mountain. In the rainforest, not only will you discover the highest waterfall in Madagascar, but you will also find lemurs and chameleons.

In the morning, you will leave Amber Mountain and drive directly to the Red Tsingy which comes from erosion called “lapiez“. On an unknown path, you descend into the Canyon and then enter in the maze of towers, some of which still carry the rock block at the top, which protects them from the erosion. Photographers are in frenzy! In contrast to other group travellers, you will enjoy this wander in the nature without any time pressure.

Ankarana: Hike Through The Tsingy

After exploring the red Tsingy, you will experience one of the most spectacular landscapes on Earth. The coral reef, which originated here 200 million years ago, was lifted from the sea and weathered under the influence of rain and wind for millions of years. The Tsingy are like sharp needles of limestone, with a very thick network of faults. This landscape cannot be seen anywhere else in the world apart from in Madagascar.

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel and go to Ankify passing through the town of Ambanja and Ambilobe cocoa plantation. At your arrival, you will take the boat to Nosy Be. Located in the north-west part, Nosy Be is Madagascar’s first tourist destination. The island has preserved its authentic feature. The welcoming population, the natural charm of its sites, the aromas and the colours provide us numerous excursions, activities and discoveries.

After breakfast, you will depart for Ambatoloaka port where you will take the boat to the surrounding islands. You will make an excursion to Nosy Komba with its black lemurs and its inhabitants. Then you will continue to Nosy Tanikely for its diving site. In the afternoon, you will go back to the Hotel.

This day will be dedicated to discover the natural and integral reserve of Lokobe which is the only original forest left on the island. You will hike in the forest to meet the famous black lemurs called "Eulemur macaco" and other diversity of endemic fauna and flora in the area. After the visit, you will go back to the hotel.

In the morning, you will make a city tour to discover the old architecture of the capital from the top end of the town, the administrative buildings and the various flower markets before visiting Ambohimanga, the cradle of the Merina monarchy. The ancestor’s story of Malagasy people will be told and brought closer by the local guide.
