ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

18 years and over with basic swimming skills

OUTCOME:
• Ability to catch and ride unbroken waves
• Ability to ride across the face of waves and perform turns
• Ocean fitness
• Ocean knowledge
• Internationally recognised Level 1 Surf Instructor Qualification
• Senior First Aid
• Ocean Safety Surf Coach Arward APOLA
• Advanced Resuscitation
• Work with Children Check
• To achieve Level 1 Surf Coaching clients must pass the required qualifications - Mojosurf internal assessments, OSSCA, Senior First Aid and Level 1 Surf Coaching.

DESCRIPTION:

3 Month course facilitating the development of the following skills
• Practical development of beginner to intermediate surf skills
• Ocean safety, ocean awareness, fitness training
• Access to a variety of waves
• Instruction to achieve catching, riding, and turning on unbroken waves
• Increased surf theory, and exposure to more challenging waves
• Increased ocean fitness, paddling power and confidence
• Preparation to pass all requirements to become a Level 1 Instructor
• Provide up to 40 hours of practical coaching experienceINCLUSIONS:
• Start your course with a 5 day surf adventure and then get inducted into the Academy program.
