      Our group transfer from Naples airport to our accommodation in Agerola starts in the afternoon. Your "dolce vita" can begin! The family-run hotel is located in the quiet suburb of San Lazzaro, directly above the coastline. After moving into your room and exploring the town for the first time, you and your fellow travelers will enjoy a delicious dinner in our hotel kitchen.

  • Day 2 Hike Baia Di Ieranto

      Hike Baia Di Ieranto

      To get to know your vacation region, we start today with a two-hour bus ride to Nerano. From there, we hike along narrow natural paths to Punta Penna with a magnificent view of the outermost tip of the Sorrento peninsula, Punta Campanella. You can admire the wonderful view of the Faraglioni of Capri, the needle-shaped, characteristic rocks off the island, and the view of the Amalfi Coast. Ieranto Bay, which today looks like paradise, is the only unspoiled bay on the peninsula. Forgotten are the days when lime was mined here for the steel furnaces of Naples. Enjoy your stay on the small beach with a view of the blue sea and cool off in the clear water while swimming. Later, we hike back to Nerano (walking time: approx. 2.5 hours, approx. 280 m ascent and descent) and make a stop in Sorrento on the way back. The pretty old town floats spectacularly on a 50m high cliff above the sea. Explore the town and its sights on your own or together with your tour guide.

      Hike To The Bay Marina Di Praia

      After breakfast, we start our hike directly from the hotel and walk through the Pino Valley to Furore. The path meanders leisurely along the mountain slopes and leads through shady groves. The scent of Mediterranean herbs fills the air. Countless lizards scurry away at your feet and butterflies dance from flower to flower. We hike along old connecting paths and mule tracks towards Praiano. We also pass grottos with bizarre formations. If you like, you have the opportunity to take a closer look at one. Finally, we reach the beautiful bay of Marina di Praia. Boats dance on the turquoise waters. With a refreshing swim or the sweet taste of a cool lemonade on your tongue, you can bring the dayโ€™s hike to a close. Our bus will take you back to Agerola (walking time approx. 4 hours, approx. 300 m ascent and approx. 600 m descent).

      Today you have time for yourself. There are nice street cafรฉs and a trip to the sea. Or you can go on an excursion to Pompeii (optional, approx. 25 euros). The excavation site illustrates the life of the inhabitants before the fall of the city. Countless beauties such as mosaics and wall paintings have been uncovered and can be admired. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of pizza baking from our chef and then, of course, enjoy this regional specialty.

      Hike Ravello - Amalfi

      After breakfast, we take our coach to Ravello (approx. 1 hour). We start the day with a visit to the cathedral. Beautiful mosaics await your admiration. Ravello is particularly famous for the historic Villa Rufolo and its gardens, from where you will have a fantastic panorama down to the sea and the towns of Maiori and Minori. You will stroll past flowering beds and under palm trees, through picturesque ruins of old buildings and up to the tower, accompanied by the subtle sounds of Wagnerโ€™s music. Afterwards, let yourself drift through the small, tranquil town of Ravello, enjoy the special flair and a sweet and fruity limoncello on the cathedral square. Then our hike begins, which takes us down to Amalfi. At the beginning, we walk along small roads and stairways. We explore the impressive, densely wooded Valle dei Mulini with the ruins of former mills that gave the area its name. The valley delights with its small waterfalls and botany. Once you arrive in Amalfi, you still have a little time at leisure. Explore this coastal town, which has developed upwards and squeezed into the narrow mill valley in a very small space. The cathedral in particular is well worth a visit. (Walking time approx. 3.5 hours, approx. 300 m ascent and approx. 550 m descent).

      Hike On The Sentiero Degli Dei, The "Path Of The Gods

      Probably the most famous path of the "Amalfitana" is the Sentiero degli Dei. The path of the gods winds its way high above the coast from Bomerano to Positano. Suspended between the sky and the sea, as it were, above the landscape, it is aptly named.

      We start after breakfast with a public bus ride to Bomerano. From there, we hike along old connecting paths, accompanied by the scent of wild herbs and the constant wonderful view of the coast, first to Nocelle, a small village above Positano and then on to Monte Pertuso, which is named after a rare rock formation, the split mountain. A flight of steps then leads us down to Positano. Even from a distance, you can see the colorful little houses that seem to cling to the rocks and create the typical image of the Amalfi Coast. A dip in the sea will refresh you after the hike. Or you can explore the picturesque village before we set off on the return journey by bus. (Walking time approx. 5.5 hours, approx. 100 m ascent and approx. 600 m descent).

  • Day 7 Excursion To Capri With Hike On Monte Solaro

      Excursion To Capri With Hike On Monte Solaro

      Today we take the speedboat from Amalfi to the island of Capri (journey time approx. 1 hour), a destination of longing for many travelers of the past and present. However, we mainly stay away from the tourist crowds. From the port, you and your travel companions will hike up to Monte Solaro, the highest point on the island (590 m). A magnificent view as far as Mount Vesuvius rewards the arduous climb. You then take the chairlift down to Anacapri, where the church of San Michele with its famous majolica artwork will amaze you. A large tile painting on the floor depicts the artistโ€™s image of paradise. We then continue by public bus to the village of Capri. There you can join in the hustle and bustle of the piazza or explore the hidden corners and squares that the town still has to offer. In the evening, we return to Amalfi by speedboat. The entire coastline with its small typical villages passes you by. From Amalfi we continue by coach to the hotel. (Walking time approx. 2.5 hours, approx. 590 m ascent, approx. 100 m descent).

      Day At Leisure - Exploration Of Agerola

      Agerola is located on a high plateau and is made up of six districts. You have time to explore the area on your own today. You can visit small agricultural production sites, e.g. for the production of limoncello or fior di latte (a type of mozzarella). Agerola is known for its dairy products. Alternatively, you can also set off on an additional hike in the surrounding area. Your tour guide will be happy to advise you.

      Hiking Vesuvius And Sightseeing Naples

      Itโ€™s time to pack your suitcase, because youโ€™re off to Naples. On the way there, your last adventure of the trip awaits: Mount Vesuvius! An exciting walk to the summit gives you an insight into the crater and views as far as Capri and Ischia. (Walking time at Vesuvius approx. 1.5 hours, approx. 200 m ascent and descent) Then itโ€™s on to the most vibrant city. After checking into your room in the beautifully situated hotel, we will take a short stroll through the city. Naples is known for its almost 3000 years of history and for its old town filled with colors and smells, its spirited inhabitants and its beautiful location on the Gulf of Naples. You are sure to end the evening with your fellow travelers in a cosy restaurant.

      Journey Home Or Individual Extension

      Depending on your departure time, you can enjoy breakfast on the hotel terrace with a wonderful view over Naples and the sea as far as Mount Vesuvius. If you are now flying back home, you will be transferred to the airport during the day and fly back to Germany. However, it is also possible to explore one of the islands in the Gulf of Naples during an individual extension or to spend a few days in the lively city.
