Itinerary

This is a week-long, 110 km / 70 mi, mainly hotel to hotel walking route that is better walked in the period from October to May.
Accommodation is in Kakopetria (Mill Hotel/Crystal Boutique Hotel), Trachypedoula (Dino's House), Pano Panagia (Liakoto or Meletios Mansion), Lasa (Lasa Heights), Droushia (Palates Hotel) and near Akamas (Aphrodite Beach Hotel).

Some of the other villages it goes through include Fyti, Kato Akourdalia, Kritou Tera and more.
Major attractions at or near the route include Unesco World Heritage Agios Nicolaos tis Stegis painted church, Kelephos, Roudias and Skarfos medieval bridges, Caledonia Waterfall, Panagia tou Sinti and Chrystoroyiatissa monasteries, valleys, many watermills, nature monuments,wineries and more.
Besides the basic route, we offer a few alternatives, as well as possible additions (eg Circular Vouni Panagia trail or including Panagia tou Sinti monastery in the route).
Walkers are provided with a pdf Roadbook in English (has also navigation tables and maps) and GPS data. We make a best effort to use walking trails and dirt roads as much as possible. At the same time, stretches on cement or asphalt road are also used where necessary.
