Transport

We only offer private vehicles and chauffeur. While traveling from the airport to the city (or vice-versa), and between cities, the transportation service will be carried on a modern and spacious SUV, where we will only place a maximum of 3 people. If the group size is more than 4, we will use a Mercedes-Benz Vito or a Hyundai Starex H1.

  • Day 1 Day 1: Santa Marta City Tour

      Day 1: Santa Marta City Tour

      Our driver will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel, in order for you to get checked-in. Then, you can either go on a city tour with our driver and a professional guide or just rest and relax in your hotel and later at night go to one of our selected restaurants with our private English-speaking chauffeur.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Tayrona National Park

      Day 2: Tayrona National Park

      At 08:00 AM, our driver and the professional English-speaking guide will be waiting for you at your hotel front desk in order to take you to Tayrona National Park entrance called "El Zaino". Here you will start your hiking to Cabo San Juan Beach, another iconic and unique beach located inside Tayrona Park. Enjoy hiking while observing the enriched and diverse flora and fauna protected by Tayrona Park mountains. Discover a wide variety of animal, bird and plant species on the way to Cabo San Juan beach. Here, you can practice snorkeling (not included), swim or take a sunbathe and relax while the Caribbean sea and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada stare at you.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Taironaka, And Trip To Cartagena

      Day 3: Taironaka, And Trip To Cartagena

      At 07:30 AM, our driver and the professional English-speaking guide will be waiting for you at your hotel front desk in order to take you to the Don Diego River. After 1 hour and 20 minutes ride, you will arrive at the Don Diego River. Enjoy a 15 minutes boat trip upstream this flat and calmed river. Afterward, you will arrive at Tayronaka, an eco-hotel that was once one of the multiple indigenous settlements that Tayronas built over the Sierra Nevada.


      The owners of this eco-hotel spent years restoring this land, and they discovered elements, devices and gold pieces from the Tayronas, which now rest in their own archaeological museum. Roam around this area and find the small terraces built over the slopes of the mountains, that somewhat emulates Lost City terraces. 


      After touring around Tayronaka, you will do tubing downstream the river. A splendid trip to the sea, where you can also take the sun, observe and hear the โ€œhowling monkeysโ€ and if you are lucky enough, Simon Bolivar and Cristobal Colon peaks (the second-highest peaks next to the sea in the world). 


      Delight yourself with an absolute magnificent scene, once you get to see the mountains and the river merging with the sea. After doing this activity, you will return by boat to Taironaka, and you will eat lunch. After eating lunch, we will go back to the parking lot, where our driver will be waiting for you to finally take you to your hotel in Cartagena de Indias. 


      From Tayronaka to Cartagena there are approximately 5 hours, therefore, relax and enjoy the rest of the trip reading your favorite book and admiring the urban and rural landscapes of the Colombian Caribbean coast.
