Itinerary of your trip El Salvador Adventure Program

  • Day 1 Arrive In El Salvador
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Arrive In El Salvador

      Arrival in El Salvador transfer to Hotel. At night we suggest visiting one of entertainment areas such as: Multiplaza, Gran Via or Paseo El Carmen. Accommodation in San Salvador

  • Day 2 Discover The Capital

      Discover The Capital

      In the morning we will visit San Salvador, and some of its most emblematic sites, the wall in the historic center (You will visit El Rosario Church and Monseรฑor Romero memorial, no mini skirts, No exposed shoulders ) center, Plaza Salvador del Mundo.  Also, visit  Boqueron National park located on Top of san Salvador volcano, you will see the crater of the last explosion from 1917,  you will walk in the forest there is approx 25 stairs, sand, loose rocs or exposed roots. OPTIONAL,   stop on the rainbow slide a popular place to lunch of photos.  (B)

  • Day 3 Santa Ana Volcano Tour โ€“ Hike Adventure-Coatepeque Lake

      Santa Ana Volcano Tour โ€“ Hike Adventure-Coatepeque Lake

      In the early morning, we will have the adventure of walking towards the Santa Ana Volcano, the largest in size and one of the main attractions in the country visited by a good number of tourists, the adventure is not extreme and can be performed by most people in good physical condition. On the way there is sand, loose rocks, and exposed roots, must bring appropriate shoes,  After return enjoy a stop overlooking Coatepeque lake for a drink or meal  (Not included )  ending the day at Ataco  . (If your group can NOT climb we will make a panoramic walk suitable for all public) Accommodation in the town of Ataco a popular destination among Salvadorians. (B) 

  • Day 4 Ataco โ€“ Cofee Process - Thermal Waters

      Ataco โ€“ Cofee Process - Thermal Waters

      In the morning we will visit a coffee farm where you will see how some of the best coffee in the country is processed, then continue to thermal waters where you can relax in any of the pools at different temperatures and prepare for your next dayโ€™s adventure. Donโ€™t forget to bring own sandals and swim suit Return to  Ataco Overnight.. (B)

  • Day 5 El Imposible Hike

      El Imposible Hike

      Parque Nacional El Imposible is the largest park in El Salvador and is named for the perilous gorge โ€“ now spanned by a bridge โ€“ that regularly claimed the lives of farmers and pack mules transporting coffee to the Pacific port. Decreed a national park in 1989, it sits in the Apaneca Ilamatepec mountain range between 300m and 1450m above sea level and encompasses eight rivers that feed the watershed for Barra de Santiago and the mangrove forests along the coast.

      This tour does require to be in a good health condition, bring appropriate shoes, hat, sun protection, mosquito repellent, swimsuit,  You will walk in the forest cross rivers, and climb a canyon.  Your guide will walk you  to see different landscapes, bring your swimsuit as  standing under a cascade  wlll be tempting. Be aware that this tour is on 4 x 4 pick up, riding on the back as locals do. There is sand, loose rocks, exposed rooths, hills, canyon and other hazzars of the forest.

      You will return  at mid  afternoon,  and then will be transfered to  El Tunco beach.

  • Day 6 El Tunco Beach
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      El Tunco Beach

      Breakfast.  Free day .  Across from the hotel is  El Tunco Becah/el Zunzal famous international spot for surfing. You can walk ti El Tunco Village and hire a surf class or just relax on the beach.

      Other activities on your own could be visiting the new  Fisherman warf at la Libertad (10 min by car ),  or visiting the restored park  Denninger for bird observation or a walk in nature ( 30 in away ).

      Or a morning visit to the Tamanique Falls hiking tour  ( 45 min )

  • Day 7 Transfer To Airport
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Transfer To Airport

      3 hours prior to departure transfer to the airport.  Hotel is available until noon.

      Kindly read carefully the tour program as hiking/climbing  -requires to be in good health condition.
