  • Day 1 Transfer From Salta Airport / City Tour/ Hotel

      We start out tour from the traditional 9th of July Square, visiting the historic centre of the city, its museums, monuments and colonial architecture. The main attractions are el Cabildo, The Cathedral San Franciscoโ€™s Church and San Bernardoโ€™s Convent. Then, we go to the top of San Bernardoโ€™s Hill passing by the Monument of the General Gรผemes and then the surroundings of Salta, visiting the university campuses and San Lorenzo, a summer village, and finally The Craft Market. 

      Overnight in a 4* Hotel in Salta (Design Suites or similar) 

  • Day 2 Salta / Cachi / Cafayate
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Salta / Cachi / Cafayate

      Breakfast.

      We start our trip through the national route Nยบ 68 heading south through the towns of Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, from where we will take the provincial route Nยบ 33 through which we will cross the Quebrada de Escoipe, Las Goteras, La Cueva del Gigante, Las Condoreras, La Cuesta del Obispo, El Valle Encantado, to arrive at La Piedra del Molino (3400m above sea level) from where we will leave the landscape of subtropical vegetation, to enter the Puna desert, where the Los Cardones National Park is located, the Tin Tin Straight (traced by the Incas), and the town of Payogasta to finally arrive at Cachi (a town that preserves the colonial architecture of the time), where we will have lunch (at the passengerโ€™s expense) and take a tour, visiting the church, the main square, the anthropological museum, the handicraft market, etc. 

      Then we will take Route 40 through the Quebrada de las Flechas, arriving in Cafayate.

  • Day 3 Transfer Back From Cafayate To Salta
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Transfer Back From Cafayate To Salta

      Visit winery in Cafayate 

      We will visit the wineries to taste the famous Torrontรฉs wine.

      After lunch (at the passengerโ€™s expense) and after visiting the town we will be able to visit the Wine Museum (entrance not included), which has the latest technology and presents the history of wine production since its beginnings. After this we will return to Salta through the same ravine, which will offer us a completely different landscape from the one we saw on the outward journey.
