      H/D SUGAR LOAF & PANORAMIC CITY TOUR (4hrs aprox.) โ€“ SIB basis with driver and bilingual guide (Spanish & English)

      Passengers will be picked-up from their hotel between 8:00am and 9:00am, depending on the hotel location, proceeding for a half-day tour and panoramic tour of downtown and stopping at the Metropolitan Cathedral, which was built in a pyramidal form with an internal diameter of 96 meters, and a height of 80 meters. Walk through the Aterro do Flamengo and arrive to the neighborhood of Urca where one of the largest symbols of the city is located: Sugar Loaf. You will travel all the way to the top in two stages by cable car. The first cable car takes us to Urca Hill, a vantage point 215 meters high with beautiful views of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterรณi Bridge and Corcovado Mountain. From this stage, a second cable car takes us up to the top.  At 395 meters we will enjoy splendid views of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and several beaches of Niterรณi. After riding the Cable car back down, return to the hotel.

      Departure in vehicle heading to the National Park of the Brazilian Falls (entrance fee included). The tour starts with a visit to the Main Center of the park, where you will have the opportunity to get some hints about the local ecosystem. From there hike along the most important trail of the park where the you can enjoy an astonishing view of the waterfalls. From the local belvedere you will have a privileged sight of the both parks of the waterfalls. Return to the main point via the panoramic elevator.

      Located at the entrance of the National Park Bird Park is an ecological sanctuary, linking ecotourism with conservation. Huge nurseries provide a basic understanding of some 900 birds, 150 species. Brazilian birds predominate, but there are species from Australia, Africa and Asia represented. It also develops a recognized work of education, research and Environmental conservation. Other attractions include a butterfly nursery with approximately 25 species of reptiles, where you can see snakes and alligators from just a few meters away.

      Transfer ahead to Argentina side with a quick stop at customs checks. After that, the tour continues to the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguassu River, which separates the border between Argentina and Brazil. Once in Argentina, take a scenic highway up to the Argentine Iguassu Park (entrance fee included) where you will have a spectacular view of the Argentinean Falls, with access to the very brink of the awe-inspiring Devilโ€™s Throat, largest of the Argentinean Falls, including the San Martin Falls. On the way back from the falls a stop at the โ€œThree Bordersโ€ Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet.

      Visit the upper circuit and the Devilยดs Throat.

      The tour combines rainforest and waterfalls. We will drive trucks into the vast wild vegetation joined by experienced guides. We will get off at the pier and board a boat to sail the Iguazรบ Inferior river canyon, rafting the river rapids to appreciate falls from the San Martรญn island peaceful backwater. Then we will visit the Tres Mosqueteros (Three Musketeers) falls, and Garganta del Diablo (Devilโ€™s Throat) will crown the tour. Sailing the coast of the island, we will get to the next exciting point: the San Martรญn falls, the greatest a boat can approach. 

      IMPORTANT: We recommend taking a second pair of shoes, informal clothes in order to change because in the Great Adventure excursion everyone will get wet.

       Itaipu is the worldโ€™s largest electrical generating capacity and could be considered a technological wonder. After a 35km ride, arrival at the Itaipu Public Relations Center, for a 30-minute film presentation showing the phases of construction and operation of this engineering monument.  After this visit, tour to the dam by bus and stop at different panoramic viewpoints. The spectacle of the spillway of the dam, with its huge flow of water is particularly impressive.

      H/D CITY TOUR (COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA)

      Visit the modern and colonial parts of the city of Lima the "City of Kings", beginning in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. Pass by a Huaca or sacred pre-Inca site. There will then be a stop at Parque del Amor (Lovers Park) in Miraflores for its magnificent view over the Pacific Ocean. The tour also includes the Historic Centre based on the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Archbishopยดs Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral are located, as well as a visit to one of the largest colonial-era convents.

      Visit Chinchero, a small picturesque Andean village. Enter the home of a textile artisan, where you will see some of his original work and learn about his techniques, as well as his creative process. Then visit its important Inca ruins dating back to the end of the 15th century, as well as you can observe in a panoramic way its beautiful and traditional church. Afterwards, on the road to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at a viewpoint, for one of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then it is on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative building complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadorsโ€™ rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress and also a religious center.

      At proper time you will board the train to Machu Picchu.

      You are going to visit one of the most important energy centers of the world: Machu Picchu. You will be driven to the archeological site, the visit of which will be an unforgettable experience, with a professional tour guide to impart to you all the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip.       PM HD CITY TOUR AND RUINS AND SAN PEDRO MARKET (SIB) 

      You will visit the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will start your tour at the iconic San Pedro market, a local market where you can explore the colors, flavors and traditions of modern Cusco. The visit continues with the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Qโ€™enqo archeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place.  Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city.
